i too, oiled mine before fitting,then turned shaft to coat surfaces, only need to put a small amount in anyway can't see a down side to this however you look at it

found a garage in chesterfield j 29 m1, called john noble motorsport. they build the engines for the noble cars sun 1000bhp rolling road, the mapper is darren and he is really good took mine there last week for a check over, going in next thursday for a full mapping top to bottom, 4 hour session tel no 01246 272749 anyone wanting mapping work in this area, i should give them a ring

no,no overheating probs, was in the market for some new gauges and that was on my list since i went single

it takes no fitting really mate,drill a hole, tap it, screw in adaptor, fit probe !

does anyone else here this, a high pitched noise (electronic static almost) hard to discribe, coming from the gauge (not too loud) its a aem one by the way cheers
