hi guys has anyone got a picture of the plug that plugs into the water temp sensor at the front of the engine,at the top , mine has broken away, the wire is there but no plug and toyota said that they would need the part number or a picture of the pug, not the sensor it's self just the plug, my car is a 1993 j-spec tt if anyone could help that would be great as car will not start without it. cheers jay

overspray is all over air con pipes, radiator, intercooler pipes, i think there is a bit on the bumper

Just picked my car up from the paintshop after getting front bumper sprayed, car now has a noise comming from 1st turbo on spool up, when i looked at the intercooler it is covered in silver paint, i asked the owner if he removed the bumper to spray it he said no, could this paint on the intercooler cause the noise on spool up, also car has done 19 miles while in garage. boost is down from 1.2 bar to 0.9 bar.

Can anyone help me with a picture of the exhaust gas control valve, my first turbo runs fine and boost is about 0.7 bar, but when 2nd turbo should come in boost drops to 0.3 bar, i'v been told this is because my EGCV is not openning so boost is going through exhaust. if this is true i need to replace the EGCV but i have no idea what it looks like. if anyone can help that would be great cheers jay

my car is doing that as well,but my boost only dropped to 0.3-0.4 bar when second turbo came in, could not find anything wrong with pipes so booked car into toyota, car has been in for 7 days now and still nothing, i'll let you no what the problem is when i find out.

already running at 1.2 bar , got panel filter in and new plugs but will check for leaks in turbo pipes serviced 2 months ago but will do this as well cheers for the advice

never thought of that before but yes it only happened when i first started the car when i was about to run down the dragway, but it also did it on way home when i changed down from 5th at 3000rpm to 4th at 5000rpm and car had been running for at least half / hour

Mine is a 6 speed manual but yes if i change down and the second turbo does not kick in, if i lift my foot up and down again second turbo kicks in.

Went to york dragway yesterday and sometimes when i set off in first gear the second turbo never kicked in but it did in the rest of the gears. Also on the way home some times when i change down a gear to overtake the second turbo never came in, is this because the first turbo has not spooled the second one up or am i way off. but this would not have happend when i set off if first gear so i am stumped.

Don't what to fit bonnet pins because air has to go somewhere. ok lads cheers, have to put some vents in bonnet
