Oh no, think my nobbly knees are in for a hammering then. I've never so much as seen a snow board let alone used one. Fun times ahead me thinks, best get some insurance sorted thinking about it!

I'll also post some interior pics up tomorrow when it's light...

I should be getting my working Visa for Canada back in the next few weeks so I'm off to Whistler to learn to snowboard . I'll be needing some spending money so my beloved car has to go. It's bad timing needing to sell this time of year so I know somebody will have a bargain with my Sup. Here's the info...... 1994 Supra Twin Turbo RZ Auto Metallic Silver Black Leather AXE Deepdish 18" alloys OEM skirts and spats Front lip Clear side repeaters Lowered Blitz Boost Gauge Blitz Dual Boost Controller Thor Fuel Cut Defender Thor De-limiter CW Restrictor Ring CW Decat Pipes RSR Exhaust Walbro Fuel Pump NGK Spark Plugs Toad Cat 1 Alarm & Immobilser JVC Head unit & Sony Xplod Speakers 5 months Tax MOT until February General info: The car was imported in 2000 and I have loads of reciepts for work carried out since. Most work done by Toyota including 3 services, one with a cambelt change (18k miles ago). I also serviced the car myself back in May (approx 3k miles ago) when I went BPU. I used Silkolene Pro. I have all the original books from Japan and I have a manual in English. I also have what looks like a service book from Japan and what appears to be the auction sheet. I have ownded the car since Nov '05 and it has had four owners. The car is in absolutely beautiful condition and everybody who sees it comments how they can't belive it's 12 years old. Every panel is original, nothing has been sprayed or changed. The interior again is in excellent condition. I took the car to Weston Performance on 29th October to have the car dyno'd. I made a very impressive 389 BHP with 388lbs of torque. Greg from Weston who had the car on the rollers said the car delivered the power spot on and sounded very healthy. Ok so now for the bad(ish) bits.... The car has covered 108k miles since new. (The odo was also converted into miles upon import). I know mileage is a big issue for some people but this car has been exceptionally well looked after, anyone who has seen it can vouch for that. Remember this car was totally stock until six months ago. I'm totally confident the turbos are healthy and the dyno should back that up. Also a couple of the wheels have been curbed sligtly, nothing major just scuffed round the rims. There's also a very minor scuff above the one wing arch. You'd hardly notice if it weren't pointed out and I'd say it would mop out. Inside, the drivers outer bolster has two or three worn creases in it but again that's very minor. Oh, and the dreaded yellowing of Jspec lights is eveident too. And finally the price....... I'm putting the car in the Auto Trader next week and also on Ebay. I thought I'd post up here in the mean time to see if anyone wants first dibs. The price to anyone on here is just £5995. IMO you would seriously struggle to find another Supra in this condition, to this spec for that price. If anyone has any questions give me a bell on 07881 918713. Thanks - Conrad Heres some pics:

Ahh, good to hear. I'll give Matt a bell first thing tomorrow about a new fob. Cheers all

I've got a Toad Ai606 fitted on my car but have lost my keys. I have a spare key for the car but not a spare fob. Does anyone know if I can replace the fob or will I have to strip the alarm out and replace the whole system? I've emailed Matt Harwood but he's not been online yet - just wondered if anyone knew in the meantime if I could get a fob.

Ian, you should seriously get into TV shows instead. You can download entire seasons and watch them at your own liesure. In the last six months I've done shit loads of shows I hadn't seen before. A few examples worth looking at if you haven't already are: 24, Entourage, My Name Is Earl, Prison Break, Lost, Grey's Anatomy... I'm all up to date with these shows now but it took some real hard work and dedication! Only trouble is that I've run out of decent shows to download now. I'm currently doing The OC and I'll probably do Desperate Houswives or Scrubs next. I'm sad I know.

Just have a look in town in any of the mobile phone shops - not your typical high street ones like The Link etc put independant ones. I lost my new phone a few months back and found out an old one on a different network. I had it unlocked by a shop in town for £5 and got a new charger for £5. I would have paid up to £15 just to have it unlocked so was chuffed.

CA - just out of curiosity why is utorrent the best? I'll give it a whirl but just wondered how one program can be superior to another. I used to use bit tornado now just use bittorrent.

Sorry Red but why wont you have Sky? To me it's an essential a utility as electric or water! Seriously, it wouldn't stop me paying for it if it were twice the price it is now. Sky rules, no question.

I loved Crank - saw it a while back. The bit where he gets a hard on is genius. One of the best films I've seen all year - and I'm not normally bothered by action flicks.

Hey Vicki - saw on the other thread CJ posted up that you're a myspace geek like me too. I added you if that's ok? Myspace owns me!

I actually saw that ad once a few months ago and then never saw it again. Told all me mates about it but none of them seen it. Thanks for the link - genius ad. The music is perfect

Cheers lads - anyone else got any advice?

My old man is having a cinema room at his house and has asked me to sort it. Only trouble is I know nothing about them. It will be ceiling mounted and projected onto an electric screen about 8ft square. He is willing to spend around £1000 for the PJ and £500 for the screen. The screen will be used mainly for movies but a little TV too. What kind of things do I need to consider? I've been told DLP is better than LCD etc etc... I'm just really unsure where to start.

You could do that but but it's not ideal. First of all you'd have to double check your son is definitely insured to drive other cars with his policy. Only some fully comp policies offer this and it tends to be older people that get those policies. Also, if he does have that kind of policy he's probably only insured to drive another car third party as an emergency. Again that needs to be double checked. My mate got his mom to insure his impreza in her name and he insured her Rover in his. He then drove round for a whole year in his Impreza third party under this rule.

Cheers Dave - appreciated.

This keeps coming on and off at random times whilst I'm driving, I can't figure out what's causing it. Is this the warning light which tells me I need to check my codes? If so how do i do it?

As already said - slip cont OFF This is a must when racing anyone. If it comes on just once it kills any serious power afterwards in anticipation of you wheel spinning again. Only turn it off if it's relatively dry though! Also get the rest of your BPU done and it should be a different story altogether!

The figure that gets banded about is £42k - well that's how much the UK model cost new (I think) But I think the Jspec was actually a cheaper car due to it's 'lesser' spec etc. Not sure exactly how much. Not 100% on any of this though, sure somebody will come along to confirm soon...

Cool - never been to one before so unsure how much they're gonna thrash the bolox off it.

As title really. I'm having my car dyno'd tomorrow for the first time and have just put in £30 of Shell's finest. Reckon i'll have done 30 mile by the time I get on the rollers and prob have about 50 - 60 miles left in the tank. Will this be enough do you think?

Bloke goes to the doctors and says 'Doctor Doctor, I keep thinking I'm a Cowboy' 'Oh really?' replies the Doctor 'So how long you felt like this for?' The man replies 'Oh, for about a YEE HAA!' :d Works much better when you say it out loud!

Mechanical Boost guage about £70 FCD About £80 - for some reason you can get the Thor FCD from Miami GT cheaper than you can from Thor! Well at least it was when I got one. Restrictor Ring £20 from CW. Walbro Fuel Pump about £70 - £80 off ebay. Plugs about £5. All of this is essential really - boost guage is a definite because the ring might not restrict you to bang on 1.2bar. All cars vary. Mine with the ring in only made 0.9bar. I had to get an electronic boost controller to up it some more - they're about £150. All of the above prices are from memory so not exact. Going BPU always costs more than you originally think.

Just to clarify for a few folks - Sky By Broadband is not BB. It's basically Sky Movies and Sky Sports (if you've subscribed to those channels) over the net. You don't watch movies or games live but you can download it all afterwards. Oh and it's totally free! I've been using it a few months. Great for catching any highlights I've missed from the footy and I'm constantly downloading movies to watch when I get chance. Gives you the freedom to watch what you want whenever you want and you never miss anything - especially the weekly Soccerette from Soccer AM.
