That's shocking. Where I am, it's carnarge in the estates - cars sliding all over the place. Speaking to my neighbours this evening when I tried to get back into my street, cars were sliding down the hill and knocking into bins etc - on the main road its a see of calm. Weird Ingenious use of old carpets!! Who needs neighbours

Yes, in layby on the mainish road to my house (at least one the gritters bother to go down). Fortunately there's a footbridge not 10 meters from my front door, which goes over the layby where my car is - so it's close.

A second neighbour came out pushed me along a bit, the other dug the ice up and pushed me.
