  1. That's an important piece of detail.....he he You should send them a valentine card just saying "no need to thank me, I do it out of the goodness of my heart"
  2. Charming A taxi turned up, but couldn't get past me, so turned around and parked up. Then he shouted over to ask if I was stuck! At this particular moment, I was stood with bucket full of hot water with a spade by myside - I wasn't standing there for my health. But that's what I expect nowadays.
  3. Were you ok? Once I got to work, I realised it wasn't worth the effort. For the first time I realised why some of you guys put the supra away for the winter.
  4. Ha ha - I think we all have felt like that sometimes!!
  5. That's shocking. Where I am, it's carnarge in the estates - cars sliding all over the place. Speaking to my neighbours this evening when I tried to get back into my street, cars were sliding down the hill and knocking into bins etc - on the main road its a see of calm. Weird Ingenious use of old carpets!! Who needs neighbours
  6. Yes, in layby on the mainish road to my house (at least one the gritters bother to go down). Fortunately there's a footbridge not 10 meters from my front door, which goes over the layby where my car is - so it's close.
  7. Incidently so did my ex and he had endless problems too
  8. I was indeedy! the power of hindsight - but there we go The main roads are actually ok! It's the housing estates which are death traps - at least they are round here Anyway I can't now get back into my street (the hill is too steep)
  9. Mine from yesterday - where it got stuck the first time.
  10. Is still alive Stuck in the ice this morning in my street (apparently we only pay for the gritters to do the main roads, and have no budget for provision of sand boxes either but hey ho), twenty minutes I found myself moved from one side of the kerb to the other (several buckets of warm water and salt later) One neighbour came out, with a spade and tried to help, pushing me along. A second neighbour came out pushed me along a bit, the other dug the ice up and pushed me. Another twenty minutes later I was free Yay to the neighbours - shouldn't be surprised by this, but I shockingly I am
  11. ha ha, it looks yellowey close up - not nice - so it can stay over there for now.
  12. Meet my snopra........... (just left it there after it was defeated by that slight slope it's sat on) My car makes an excellent silhoutte however and I've decided a snowman would look silly in comparison. Besides I hate snow!
  13. Well guys, I got deodrant, and a milkshake glass!!!!! Drum kit = really cool
  14. Excellent photos Ken thanks for that Guys I can't believe you think Basingstoke is full of chavs - have you never been to High Wycombe?
  15. Yes I went right, instead of left.......I got 100 yards down that road and thought "wrong way, I don't remember this bridge" te he It was dark!! Glad I helped...
  16. Thanks for organising this guys. Great meet, trying to shoe horn us all into that car park was excellent fun Have a great christmas everyone.
  17. I've been telling myself for years I would make the effort and get to Wales to watch the final WRC round. Next year.... PS........take photos!!!
  18. I did one a few years back near Oxford, it was a full day but about £240 though, and I was about 22..... Excellent though, it with the company Intotheblue......
  19. Spotted this morning heading out of Tadley towards Basingstoke - about 7:45 ..... you waved at me..
  20. Hi Guys I suggested siezing calipers to him and he's going to look at that! Also he tells me he uses the discs the garage supply, so I've suggested that he buy some different makes, and also change the pads too Thanks....
