it is the starter motor, have had it all checked. and yes it is going to be a bit*h to change for someone.

I have got 3 defi gauges and a control unit. Boost, Oil Temp, Oil Press. I have a problem with the oil pressure gauge at the end of the wiring from the gauge there is a connector which obiovuly plugs into the control unit. Well the connector is buggered basically. she wont click back into the control unit and you can see the connector is not good. so I need a new one then I can solder the connections back in place. Can anyone tell me where the hell I get one of those connectors from? Thanks

Does anyone no if the Jap starter motor is the same as the uk spec ones? thanks

I dont have another battery around. How ever, it is a Jap battery, which I no are rubbish. so its probably a good idea I get a decent battery anyways. and if it dont work after the new battery then, will have to get it looked at. thanks for the help

I think I am going to get this battery Halfords HCB005. which alot of people say on here is good. but my question is. Will this just fit straight in on a Jap Spec Supra TT, without a problem? thanks people?

I am going to do a search on what is the best battery to get for the supra, hopefully get one from halfords or something. or is that not a good idea? what about the connectors and terminals on the new battery etc will they fit the jap connectors? if you understand what I mean. will there be a probably fitting it.

Well yeah makes that click click click noise and I get all the usual lights come on, on the dashboard but she just not turning over. So its a flat battery.

What a morning already. My supra wont start. I get all the usual dash board lights come on and you can here a spark. so take it that the spark plugs are working but the car just wont turn over and start. any one got any ideas? start motor? If someone knows how much money going to cost to get it repaired? thanks

I am just got my first supra over the weekend and just needed some answers if possible. The only question is that I have at the moment and that is the headlights on the car. There are 3 lights within the headlight unit. When I turn the lights on I just get the small outer side lights come on? However, when I turn full beam on I get all 3 lights come on in the headlight unit? Is this normal. As when I put normal beam on it is not very bright. Sorry not very good with wording things. thanks

From what I know. I dont think there is a Service Pack or any large file with loads of updates on for windows 98, especially if you are using 98 SE already. You can do it a silly way and just download all the updates seperately and then burn them to CD. Not much help really but an idea.

oh well if I can get it to work then great. can anyone help. The head unit will still have to be changed though wont it as the radio bands are different. i.e I wont be able to get Kiss 100 etc. is that correct?

Hello all, Just a quick one I that this head unit in my J spec Supra it has got Sat Nav to. how much do you think it is worth. Estimate just so I know what I can sell it for roughly to get some money on it as it aint going to work over here. Thanks

I would go clifford everyday of the week. I would go for the Concept 650 or the 950 but that is all they do now anyways. The concept 650 is very good. CAT1 and you can add the window closure and turbo timer later on. Cheers

Hello People, Can some tell me a bit more about this HKS controller. e.g. what version is it, should I change it for a better one etc? it looks a bit old to me. I am just interested as its coming on my supra and wondered what it it like. thanks
