i am losing compression from piston number 4, it runs fine but not worth taking it if its poorly but at least it wont cost me much in fuel

  16. mate of mine just bought a typr r, really nice cars very light but its a good 3k over priced, he paid just over 10k for a really good example on a T plate with 30k on the clock!!
  17. forgot to say the GB is non profit making and the price is subject to the exchange rate etc so it may vary a few pounds either way
  18. Well after looking for one of these i decided to aproach a trader in the US and he offered me a very good deal if i got a little group buy going for 5 of these line locks. I have done the GB on my native 300zx club and out of the 5 4 have sold so 1 left!! so be quick Some info: Whether you call it a roll control, line lock, or whatever, the Hurst Roll Control keeps your car out exactly where you want it by locking the front brakes. Controlled by a solenoid valve attached to a switch (included) on your shifter, the Roll Control keeps you from rolling by locking your brakes when you activate the push button switch. When you release the switch, the Roll Control instantly releases your brakes as you hit the throttle. Rigorous testing has proved a 1/100,000 of a second release time, and vibration tests have seen up to 30 Gs applied without mechanical failure. The Roll Control comes with a rebuild-able stainless steel solenoid valve, indicator light for your dash, inline fuse holder, and complete instructions. It gives you one less thing to worry about when you're staging or want to hold your car in place. Price wise including shipping etc £80 which is really cheap for the best line lock out there. i will close the GB and be getting payment from all the buyers as soon as i get the last order. Many thanks Mike
  19. Had this for a few months, as usual bought it used it the first few weeks and its been sat there ever since Anyway with all the money i'm spending on my car i need to get rid of more toys Premium pack with hard drive 2 x Wireless controllers (genuine x box ones) 7 Games: Kameo Project Gotham 3 Need for Speed Most Wanted Call of duty 2 Dead or Alive 4 Perfect Dark Zero King Kong Obviously comes boxed etc and due to its value i prefer pickup but can post if needed at buyers expense looks great on my HD plasma Open to reasonable offers Mike
  20. i think the twin will be at its upper limits so probably wont last as long as you would like, especially if you drive it hard, launches etc i'm about to remove my engine as i have a little comression issue and my twin OSG is going to be at its limits and as its pretty new i decided rather than destroying it i might as well sell it and get decent money for it and ive bought the twin RPS carbon/carbon!! must be mad Mike
  21. I run the AEM system and did think of using it to control my boost but decided that i wanted to have control of the boost and not keep having to plug in the laptop to alter or load on another map with a different boost setting. I think especially if you have a high power car, having a lower boost setting is a must i run mine with the boost controller off and the wastegates give me 1 bar and with the EVC5 switched on it give me 1.3 bar on one setting and 1.6 bar on the other setting jobs a goodun Mike
  22. TBH i would only get a hurst one
