  1. I was given one of these when i bought my car but as I changed the stereo i've never used it. Does anyone want it, as i've never used it I dont know if it works but if you PM me your address i'll send it to you, no charge of course!

    Quiet innit?

Im at work but not so bad seeing the weather today. Washed my car last night ready for my 1st JAE tomorrow but will probably have to rinse it again tonight if the rain today was anything like the last rain we had! Cant wait for the convoy tomorrow, the highlight of my supra owning life so far!!
  3. Post up more pics of these beauties mate. ..and get some more car shots too.
  4. please add your names to the list for convoy to thurrock services 1.Burt 2.Klump 3.Toyotatom 4.Robace 5.Nevs 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. I had my name down for the convoy to Thurrock but I will now be meeting AT Thurrock services, just so you guys dont think ive bailed out
  5. A few months ago I had a seized caliper which was making a squeaking/scratching sound which stopped when i applied the brakes, maybe this?
  6. If your headlights were your eyes, from the front view it looks like the decals are tears streaming from the wind the faster you go.... I know what im trying to say but not sure if that makes sense!! Like it very much from the side view, I love this car with the doorhandles shaved and being de-badged, very smooth.
  7. Im gutted I wont be able to make this now, it clashes with the trip to Vegas ive just booked..... but at the same time...)
  8. please add your names to the list for convoy to thurrock services 1.Burt 2.Klump 3.Toyotatom 4.Robace 5.Nevs 6. Gary 7. 8. 9. 10. Liking the extra half hour in bed!
  9. Was really good to meet you all last night, will definately be a regular from now on. Mmmmm cake.........
  10. Is anyone going from Gatwick area up the M23? If not i will try to join up with you guys coming from from Clacketts on the M25...
  11. I have mine on the softest setting most of the time as I find this is still really firm. Any harder setting, on some of the roads I drive on it feels like my dash is going to fall apart.
  12. Bought these a while ago on ebay and haven't got round to fitting and now I need to get some money together for a new intercooler and UK front brakes I paid £160, only want £100, they have been primed and are still in bubble wrap. As they have never been fitted I dont know how good the fitment will be to be honest, I doubt it will be perfect but for the price you can afford to get the fitment sorted. I would prefer collection or I could deliver around the Gatwick area or bring them to a SE meet. Gary
  13. Huge UFC fan here! Most looking forward to see St Pierre V Hughes whenever that is going to happen. Went to Vegas for UFC54 last August and was hoping to go for the Ortiz / Shamrock fight next month but just spent out on the supra and gone BPU so cant afford the tickets now The ultimate fighter series is brilliant, the next one is going to have previous UFC fighters looking to make a comeback.
  14. You dont need 'em! Drinking and driving is bad.........
  15. Stupra, have a listen to the sound clip of the HKS SSQV on the mkivstore website in the support and downloads section, sounds great and this sound clip swung my decision!
  16. I have had my HKS SSQV for 2 weeks now and I am really pleased, was worried at first it would sound too loud but the more I hear it the more I love it! At high revs you just get a quick high pitched whistle which sounds great, I also love the sound it makes when you slowly lift off as it starts to whistle, can only describe it as ch-ch-ch-ch. lol
  17. thanks for the replies guys, lots of points to look into... cheers again
  18. As the title reads, just wondering if anyone on here owned one or anyone with knowledge of them, things to look out for - good/bad, any opinions etc? There are a few on e-bay at the moment which we may be looking at over the weekend, ideally looking for a 1992 model as standard as possible 4wd.. Im sure amongst everyone on here someone would have owned one at some point?! cheers guys/girls
  19. whenever someone comments on my car, either in a car park in town or at work etc; "ooh I bet that drinks a lot of petrol" the best time was at a petrol station..... ("no, im just here because I like the place")
  20. I always use tescos 99ron, yesterday was the first time I have paid over a pound a litre - 100.9 pence to be exact! Not gonna cry about it tho as since i've gone BPU I seem to get the same or even slightly better mpg than before.
  21. OMG! That is shocking! Hopefully they aren't too deep, wouldn't you just love to get hold of the person who did that!
  22. It looks like the cable that makes the seat slide forward when you pull the seat release at the side. I have a problem with my passenger seat not sliding forward when i pull the side handle, it only tilts forward and my cable looked something like that in your photo from what i remember..... I never fixed it though as i hardly ever give 2 people a lift at once and have to fold a mate up to get in the back seats!
  23. Your boss could just be jealous of your car mate
  24. I get mine serviced at Woodcock Hill and have had no problems with them at all. There has always been at least one other supra there when mine has been due for a service so they are not uncommon at the garage which is good! Its only about a minute north of the felbridge traffic lights incase you need to know! Will keep an eye out for you around Crawley, there are quite a few of us who are on this website now.
