Can anyone find an older one? I dont know when ths site actually started but it is interesting looking back at all the members names from '01, most memberships are either expired or banned but its good to see who the originals were that are still on here Not that I know any of them as I only joined in '04 but i guess i've got nothing better to do so far today......

  9. I was lucky as when i replaced my boot rubbers I didnt have the problem with the glue that others have, however they were as bad with the creaking noises as the old ones i had just replaced. I put a thin piece of rubber between them and now they are fine.
  10. wow, very nice, im thinking of getting these and my car is silver too so these pics are a great help!
  11. Thanks for the info, as its only a few hours work for a garage i wont risk trying it myself incase i bugger it up!
  12. I was thinking about it, have been reading up on it but not 100% confidence i would be able to. wondering how much it would cost if i paid a garage, if its a lot then im sure my confidence would go up
  13. Hi all, Im just wondering how long it would take for a garage to upgrade my j-spec brakes front and rear to UK specs including disks, calipers, pads and braided brake lines? Im trying to work out with their hourly rate if i can afford to do it this month or have to wait until after next payday. Or has anyone got an estimated price I should be paying? thanks in advance, Gary
  14. You will love the atmosphere mate, I've seen the Knicks and Rangers a couple of times and it was great! Always got my tickets through ticketmaster as its easy enough to pick them up at the willcall desk. If you have a few days there and are planning on sightseeing i would recommend going up the Rockefella center as they have opened up the top for tourists and its better than going up the Empire State building as the queues are shorter. The views are amazing.
  15. Haven't seen that before, nice one
  16. Same here, just got to the end of it all too. I think 1 bump per day is reasonable, after all, if anyone hassles me too much about doing something i tend to give it even less priority.
  17. L***WPX I saw you drive out past Virgin Active on saturday night about 7pm. Mine was parked in the multi storey so you wouldnt have seen me. Sounded nice as you pulled away
  18. My guess would be some sort of kitchen surface pot holder thingy? What did you think when you were unwrapping them?! was this the look on your face - ?
  19. thanks for the reply, i just wanted to get a rough price before they quoted me so I could tell if they were taking the p1ss! Will pay them to dispose of my old ones if they can too so will add on an extra couple of quid each i guess.
  20. Got 4 new Eagle F1's being delivered today, just wondering what sort of price roughly it would cost if i took them down to ATS/Kwik Fit to get fitted/balanced? cheers Gary

    Security Threat

I've just been reading this whole thread and can say i've learnt more about history and politics in the last 20 minutes than I did in all the years at school.

So....from what I understand....the only hand luggage that can be taken onboard must be in a clear plastic bag, and this is only limited to medicines, glasses but without their cases, passport, tickets etc and if travelling with baby food/milk etc it must be tasted by the passenger carrying it. Maybe Im just being too negative but with all the organisation of these terror plots surely there will be someone working 'on the inside' who will be able to get something onboard without carrying it on their person boarding a flight as a passenger? Hopefully the average cleaner/baggage handler/caterer shouldnt be able to bypass their own security before boarding a plane but do you think these plots are going higher up? Im not trying to scare anyone, just a point of conversation really, is my imagination O.T.T or is anyone else wondering the same?
  23. It was my first JAE and definately not my last! I got home last night and transferred my passengers' camcorder recordings of the convoy up from Thurrock/South Mimms/Brampton onto a dvd, (although a bit bumpy and shaky) was great to see and hear through the Hatfield Tunnel. Also had the camcorder on my car roof when we did the revs on sunday, great noise with the tv turned up!! Havent got up so early in a long time, felt like 5pm when it was only midday!! Big thanks to all the organisers and members helping out on the food, merchandise etc
