I agree, I would avoid eBay for this type of purchase. Probably a bit more than you wanted to spend judging by the prices of the two ebay systems but this system should do everything you need. Although it does not include a monitor. If all you want to play is backgammon then they will be fine, otherwise both options have 'entry level graphics'. They are not supplied with dedicated graphics cards, only on board graphics.

Be sure to get the latest nvidia drivers, just released for the demo. They give a nice increase in performance. Verified by a very nice increase on my 3dmark scores ! (on Vista) You can pick up the drivers here for both XP and Vista. I have not tested the XP drivers. http://downloads.guru3d.com/ (Forceware 169.01)

No idea on the FPS as I could not get fraps to run due to the version of fraps I have (v2.8.2) not working with DX10. I am installing the latest version (v2.9.2) of fraps now. hopefully that will work. I can say that it was playable at the settings I used so that would lead me to believe that I was getting at least 30FPS. As far as I know, SLI does not work yet but I should think that is just down to the beta drivers and hopefully nvidia will sort that out soon. **Edit, some are able to use SLI. reading more about it now.

Not mapped by you Ryan but I thought I would throw it out there for comparison. My T71GTQ, this was done with a leaky turbo seal.

I have it, got it yesterday, people who pre-order the game got to DL the demo 24 hours before the public. Graphics are very nice, probably the best I have ever seen yet. I had my settings to very high in game for everything and at 1680x1050 res and it was playable. This is with my CPU overclocked but not my GFX. I installed the new nVidia beta driver that was recommended with Crysis and it took away my overclocking ability for the graphics. If I had the GFX overclocked then I think that would have given me at least another 10-15 fps easy so it would have been a bit better. I turned it down to high for everything and flipped on 2xAA and it was much improved. Gameplay is pretty cool. I would take screen shots but fraps would not work with this game. probably because I am running the game with DX10. My systems meat and potatoes: 2.4ghz Intel Dual core overclocked to 3.5Ghz (watercooled) 2 GB ram 8800 GTX (normally overclocked to 675mhz) (watercooled) X-Fi Elite pro soundcard

Nice car. I prefer the black Vielside wheels though, I think it suits the overall look of the car better.

My headunit is not installed in my car anymore as it was taken out during the recent work I had done. What I would like to know is, what do I need to do to activate the unit to eject a sat nav DVD that I have in the player. I assume that I need to hook it up to a power source but I do not want to damage the headunit. Any tips ?
