  1. Not sure of the rpm , I was just looking for the AFR under full boost. I'll adjust the boost to take it upto 1.2bar and I'll see what I get. Thanks
  2. Sounds very interesting , I bet she's having a great time.
  3. I've just fitted my AEM A/F gauge and I went out for a drive earlier. I'm BPU and I'm boosting to just over 1 bar. The AFR is dropping down to 10:1 which is a little scary considering that the AEM unit doesn't read any lower than this and the actual value could be possibly lower. I need some advice please?
  4. If you say which bit you're interested in I'll make it larger.
  5. I'm sure you could just remove the battery and use the existing charger connected up with a couple of wires, you would have to be careful you don't short them out. If the socket is broken it can easily be replaced with one from Maplins or RS.
  6. You cannot be serious? LOL Nearside is left. The part no is: 42301-30030
  7. Do you know what sensors they're for?
  8. You could get yourself a multimeter if you haven't already got one and then measure the current draw from the battery with the alarm on and then off. With my toad alarm my car would sit for at least 3 1/2 weeks and still start easily.

    Coolant!

Airlocks are the most obvious reason for poor heater performance together with a leaking heater matrix. Some people pull off the heater hoses just before they go through the bulkhead in order to pour some coolant in.

    Coolant!

Just get some ethylene glycol based antifreeze from your local car shop, it's best to mix it with de-ionised water to get the correct mixture.
  11. I've just done a couple of gauges this way too.
  12. I'm not that good with photoshop, but seeing as you're still waiting.
  13. He made it very clear, he's stopped using a phone because of the risk of getting points on his licence! Isn't this a good description of all people that use their phone whilst driving?
  14. So does that mean that you were once a dickhead that couldn't give a toss about the safety of others and you would still use the phone whilst driving if it wasn't for the fact you could now get points on your licence if you were caught?
  15. We'll have less of that please! We've been asked to refrain from using words like that, you must've missed the thread the other day.
  16. Yes, try some heat but be carefull. Hold the rubber valve with another pair of pliers whilst you undo the dust cap.
  17. I've never messed with the shocks. Bump for you.
  18. Lucky man! Fantastically well engineered cars, I bet they're lovely to drive. I'm getting a 430 if I win the lottery, the Porshe's don't look flash enough for me.
  19. LOL That's why I've never bothered getting one. I just ignore the phone if it rings whilst I'm driving, if it's important they can leave a message.
  20. You must've missed the Police programme that was on last night. There was a bloke driving a 7 tonne truck on a dual carriageway, he was fiddling around with the phone that was fitted in the vehicle. He ploughed straight into a line of stationery traffic which was queing to leave at the next junction, he didn't even apply the brakes. The driver of the car he hit was killed instantly - a 23 year old young lady. Her car was crushed to less than half of it's original length . They showed the traffic policeman going to her home to break the devastating news to her family, her mother answering the door!
  21. It is. I think you need to have a good search on here and other forums to find wheels that you like first, there's loads of them that would look nice on your car. I could post up some pics but it's all about personal preference and how much you've got to spend.
