  1. Isn't this the wrong thing to do though? It's like those on X Factor being told they are great singers by their mam and dad! In the end it doesn't do them any favours.
  2. I don't, just standard BPU and that's it.
  3. No 22 hasn't got any votes! I think I'll be nice and vote for her.
  4. After fitting my AEM A/F gauge it's apparent that it's running a little rich, at 1.2 bar it's showing 10:1 which I now know is the AEM's min displayable value. Is it possible to fit an Emanage Blue to a VVTI to lean off the mixture at high boost levels, or are there other solutions? What's actually involved , would I need to just fit the MAP sensor with an injector harness or do I need the ignition harness too? Can a technically competent person (such as myself ) with no mapping experience manage to do the mapping themselves or would it be best to get someone else to do it? Thanks, any advice appreciated.
  5. That's good to hear. So what about fitting an Emanage to my VVTI BPU car to control the fueling . I know Ian C got it working on Alex's single VVTI. How easy would it be to set up on my car?

    F1 8th july

LOL . I remember. It was great fun sitting under an umbrella on a camping chair from about 7.00 in the morning, we used to go in early to get a good position.

    F1 8th july

Not this year, we've been loads of times and it's getting a little boring. They don't make any effort at all to entertain the fans, I want to see fast cars of any type on the track when the F1 cars aren't running, not boring acrobatic helicopters, a boring parachute display team and the red arrows are boring too when you've seen them a few times. A few years ago they had a Renault Espace with a F1 engine which screamed around the track, also the Batmobile - they were great! A Tornado bomber used to fly over very low too , right over our campsite - not anymore. It's great if you haven't been before though, I hope I haven't put you off.
  8. Yeah that! There's loads of adjustment on the window itself, up and down, forwards and back, you can tilt the top in loads too.
  9. I'll give you a reply. I'm sure you can take a better one.
  10. Yep, I'm getting 10.1 , 10.2 etc now and again so I'm hoping this is okay. Can anything be done to make it run slighly less rich at WOT?
  11. It doesn't. Like TrickTT says, use some exhaust assembly paste (at all the joints if you haven't got any gaskets) - it does the job.
  12. The readings you're getting are perfectly okay. On full throttle at 1.2bar I'm getting 10:1 which is the norm for a J spec, just a little rich.
  13. This is one of the specified jacking points for the Supra. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=522292&postcount=6
  14. You can part no: 47220-30060 You may want to replace the 2 grommets that the reservoir locates into. part no: 47255-16010, you'll need 2

    wheels

Powder coating is different to spray painting them, I'm sure you could get them painted somewhere.
  16. Don't forget to clean off any oily residue from the disks before you fit them. Make sure the hub is free from dirt/rust before you fit the new disks, I always clean the mating surface with a wire brush. Sometimes the caliper bolts can be extremely tight, I used a long lever which I managed to push with my foot.

    wheels

What a load of bollocks, I would be amazed if that was true.
  18. On Supraforums it's $637, that's excluding the centre horn bit.
  19. The wheels should fit fine but I agree that the tyres sizes aren't right. 235 minimum front on a 8.5" rim 255 minimum rear on a 9.5" rim

    Ford Cougar

My brother has owned the V6 model for the last 6 1/2 years. This is what he has just said: moosing (fog horn type noise)...noise from engine bay....fixed by £10 piece of different shaped pipe....best to replace V6 water pump as original might have plastic impellor which don't last as they discintergrate with time...£23...beware of rust on spot welds on rear wheel arches...only other things replaced were a couple bulbs... Nothing else has gone wrong replaced some brake pipes but car is 8 years old Couple of sites http://www.ukcougarforum.com/ http://www.newcougar.org/forums/index.php
  21. I think you would be lucky to get out of any car if you turn it over like that and it lands on the roof. A high powered car and driver combination are to blame.
