  1. Sounds like a great holiday. The rollercoaster in the pic looks exhilarating to say the least, a fantastic view too!
  2. 81 posts in over 4 years, that must be a record low!
  3. Probably not that much of a helpful reply but you've got one two now. I did quite a bit of searching on the matter and came to the conclusion that the Blitz controllers were the ones to go for. They feature dual solenoids for the best boost response. The SBC-iD 3 will fit nicely below the radio, I can't remember what the Colour model does in addition but I realised that these extra features weren't necessary.
  4. Not good! I bought one of these for my leisure battery, no problems at all. http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/ac70-12v-battery-charger

    rear brakes

There was an error with the link. Looks like the bottom ones, the UK rears are 323 dia, so these must be the j spec. They've made a mistake with the bore size , should be 60 (60.06). I wouldn't get them for my car as you don't know who makes them.
  6. When you put the brakes on hard you'll feel a pulsation through the pedal,
  7. On the ITV news they showed a Police car with the Police sitting inside sheltering from the rain, they only got out after the rain stopped to resume their checking of passing vehicles. I don't know how they can sleep at night!
  8. I didn't realise that all three children were 3 years old or under. Yes, far too young to be left alone . Too late now though
  9. Discs normally have the minimum allowable thickness stamped on the edge, I think it's in the manual too. Sometimes you get uneven wear grooves on the discs which isn't good especially if you're fitting new pads. A little is okay but it can be really bad which can mean a disc change or you can get them skimmed if they're thick enough. If you check the condition of the pads/discs you should always check the inside too as you don't always get even wear!

    Wheel studs

I think you've made a mistake. 50nm is just 37 lbft , about half the recommended value
  11. You definitely got your moneys worth out of them.
  12. Here you go Click here
  13. The search begins for a new manager, will we ever get the right one? Two of my brothers have season tickets which they've had for many years, they had their doubts about renewing them along with many others.
  14. I think the key is to hold the parts together while the adhesive cures, this may take a few days. I'm sure Tiger Seal will work. http://www.u-pol.com/countries/en/downloads/tds/tigerseal.pdf
  15. That's the trouble, all three of those cars look fantastic but the colours won't be the same on a completely different shaped car. Personally I would have a look on Supraforums, they have some great looking cars on there.

    Wheel studs

Yeah, same on the front. You can tap them out with a hammer and a drift, they're not in that tight. Infact the workshop manual tells you to do it this way. It was my great idea to use the balljoint separator! LOL
  17. I would probably use silicone rubber, but you would have to hold the bits together while it cures - you would have to do this with most adhesives etc if they're trying to pull apart.
  18. I'm not sure which is the best match, the Halfords one or Toyota. I think you've just got to try them and find out.

    Opinions...

Very nice. Just need the dull headlights sorting and the orange blobs replaced.
