  2. Doing 96 on a dual carriageway these days is not really that much of a crime, if you are driving within the capabilities of the car, the road and the driver. If it was a clear dual carriageway away from any residential area and the road was dry I dont see any real harm. What I do not condone is doing 56 in a 30mph in a residential area. When cameras came out that was the place for them, not dual carriageways and motorways. Its another way of screwing money out of motorists. Oh and I got 3 points and £30 for doing 97.8 on a dual carriageway in the Highlands of Scotland on a Sunday morning
  3. These are Americans firing the miniguns, you have to really hope that you dont get caught in "friendly" fire. Even so I want one, I want one.
  4. Drove my Supra in snow today for the first time, glad I heeded the advice on here guys and gals. Couple of bicycle clip moments, but remembering to drive like a fairy in the snow helped.
  5. As promised some piccies of the dash trim, The whole thing was quite easy, but you do need to make sure the surfaces are really clean and in some parts I found that extra adhesive is required. They did include some adhesive promoter but I searched high and low for some but couldnt find any but in the end it didnt really matter. The dash doesnt look too bad and it seems to fit quite well for me but the trim round the centre console - ugh! But then again it could be me. They also included accents for the doors, the glove box and air vents, I havent put them all on-its a bit too much All in all its brightened up the dash and its alot better than the stock paint job and I think I will go with it - for the time being
  6. Just received the dash trim kit from BD Trims, took about 5 weeks to arrive, there doesn't seem to be enough adhesive in the kit, but all the parts are there and I will be trying to fit the kit this week by myself. Gone for a slightly different colour - ive gone down the bling route and got a red dash. Will post pictures and let you know how it went asap.
  7. I used Pete Betts fog light conversion sheet found here http://homepage.ntlworld.com/peter.betts/supra/TechTips/fog_lamp.htm and got a local sparky to do it. Its excellent. Another tip I found is use the search button :D
  8. Seen some stainless steel kick plates £25 the pair with Supra on them at http://www.gtgrafix.com. Don't know if thats what your after?
  9. Hi everyone, I introduced myself earlier but no pictures to be had, hope this rectifies it. Still can't stop smiling.

  12. Hello everyone, I've been getting all the info from the site for a couple of months now and i've gone and done it, yes, I've gone and brought a 94 J-Spec SZ and my face is so sore because I have this stupid grin on my face. Yes I know its not a TT but I don't care Im loving it. The headlights were absolutely badgered and I put UK spec headlights in and I want to put 17s on the wheels instead of the stock 16s, Can I just whack them on or do I need to do anything? Thanks guys and gals you helped me make my mind up.
