    Sex-starved?

who beneifts is always the question. i don't believe the soldiers are completely blame free (- for their own losses.) no one joins up without the knowledge they might die in combat. [and remember killing is their business.] by extension if no one joined the forces there would not be a body count.

    Video Game

doom was great in its day however i recently re-completed it on xbox and was surprised by how it had not held up the way original video games have, such as pac-man, galaga, etc. all said however the best fun i have had is multi-player on mariokart and recently l4d.
  6. not to mention the genius that is g points on xbox! (...awaits trophy response...)
  7. I picked up a snoopy tennis recently - still has excellent game play ~30 years on. Good old nintendo.
  8. (didn't read the battle) but i says xbox, why? left 4 dead! and l4d2 in november.
  9. now sold! Fantastic opportunity to buy a Supra that is in near factory condition. I would be keeping it if I had space at my flat to park but unforunately I can't and it is costing insurance etc not to drive her. The upside of course is that it has ultra low certified mileage. I have a BIMTA certificate showing 41000km at January 2006. Since then it has been de-limited and is clocking in miles - now showing 42530 - so the maximum it has covered is 27006 miles. The car's condition refelcts the mileage - the seat, carpets, headlining, pedals, engine bay etc are all in near mint condition. My mechanic said the car is "minted" underneath and I took this to be a good thing. MOT until Jan 2010, Tax until Dec 2009. Serviced in January with a UK service history showing 2 prior services. The car is completely stock with the exception of the stereo which is a basic sony MP3/CD face-off unit that connects to ipods etc and a Clifford Concept 470 alarm with 2 fobs (and 2 keys.) This is a real 'time warp' car and could go up in value over long term. The paintwork is in good condition overall but there are a few light marks in the lacquer on the boot and door. Not many Supras left in such original state with such low miles. Asking £4900 ono
  10. alf never died, in fact he turned out (in great numbers) to vote on the euro elections.

    e bay problem

there is no situation really. buyers have the run of ebay, you can't get negative feedback for not paying - so don't. buy elsewhere rather than -> pay, get no tickets, email, contact back and forward, get told it is the post office's fault, try to claim, get into a dispute, eventually maybe get a refund 6 months later. [that is your future] or don't pay, (and he will get a fee credit from ebay.)
  13. someone was asking about this recently.
  14. how rude! it will be costly to send a wheel to u s of a. probably not worth the time and money and headache. don't all supra have the same stud pattern in any event?
  15. don't know why they do sales this way as it is never VAT free as they have no power not to charge VAT - so it is just a reduction of the approximate amount. in effect it is a lie to the public.
  16. i thought these machines told you the power at the wheel and there is then an 'estimated' calculation of what is lost in the gearbox etc. and depending on the said 'estimate' determines whether they get more work or lots more work ie a bit of honesty does not go down too well with some folks who want a big number. so feel free to add a 10bhp here or there and say it is lost at some point before the wheels.

    I am gutted!

cat c and d don't need full inspections to get them on the road just a VIC which only checks the car is not a ringer and that the engine and body match the number plate. the repairs are down to the owner and it is the owners duty to make sure the car is roadworthy and the MOT is an annual check on this. so the car can be bought, sold and driven as long as it is roadworthy. if you get it checked and the check says it is not roadworthy you ought to take it off the road and it will give you problems selling it if you don't declare that fact.
  18. certified mileage? and what will its road tax be (lower/higher rate)?
  19. i find it amazing that this is over £11k! i struggled to get £9k on my mint UK auto with only 30,000 miles on the clock last august - i won't be surprised if it is re-listed
  20. the iphone was around 6 months ago - you should have jumped when you had the chance! - or you could buy an unlocked iphone, i hear such things exist.
  21. but the fuel strike showed we don't need it as much as they want us to - in the main most can get by without moving about in a car.
  22. who is selling the supra that is not registered and is a 2.5l? dealer? / private? town? how did you find out about it? (just curious.)
  23. lexsum

    well hello there

got to love metal band names, yours is very much in the tradition; dragonforce! (verging on a parody of a parody.) oh, and the car is a good choice too.
