Yeah i will probably just leave my little red switch where it is, but cheers for the note on that, next new job then UK spec rear light do look the part.

Just stick it with some decent double sided pads if its only for the MOT,just make sure it does not fall off

what about the switch to turn it on then, or did you just wire it up to an external switch????

Mine is screwed to the bottom of the bumper, so when you take it off you cant see any hole marks

I too have uk spec rear lights, how did you wire them in then, i mean did you wire them to the inside set or outside set of reds (prob inside but just checking) Oh an go get a bolt on rear fog from a motorists shop and run a wire down from your already converted lights, and that should do the trick.

I think they are being a bit tight, i had an FTO which was done like yours i.e. one reverse light as a fog light, and it went through fine. Who is doing the MOT if its Kwikfit or somewhere like that i am not suprised:angry:

Bonsai cars located in the docks in southampton. Or car sense (bit pricey but not too bad).(Northam Soton) they specialize in imports so give them a call. Bonsai are the most reasonable

My speedo seems to be about 5mph out, i think its most likely to be my wheels being 18" with 245/35 front and 275,35 rears. anyone else have this prob and know how to adjust it:)

Firstly make sure there is a fuse in the power cable to the amp, that will cause probs if thats earthing, as close to the battery as possible. May not be that but good place to start, as it could cause other probs. Also look for anything not secure in the engine bay, or even your keys being too weighty (loads of keys) and switching off the ignition. stupid but it does happen:cool:

Had a look at the error code on the ECU and it came up with 42 which is the speed sensor 1, so it is pretty much garrantied to be that. Cheers everyone

Yeah cheers for that, does seem to be bad delimiting hopefully, as the engine management light comes on as well sometimes, then goes off as does the o/d light (strange).

When driving my overdrive light sometimes flashes at me when overdrive is on, anyone else had this problem?
