  2. There is an event on the 18th of July (sunday), which includes track events, hot rods and all sorts. thought this sounded quite good so i am going, this is what it includes as well Trade stalls plus caterers (food umm) Quarter mile with road/race cars and motorbikes maequee entertainment and a cheap bar just thought if any of you were up for it £5 entry fee by the way for adults and children are £2
  3. Seem to remember mine cost a fortune from toyota, it comes as the whole unit me thinks
  4. I got done doing 54 in a 30 which got me 6 and 180 quid fine , but i called up before and they sent me the photo no probs at all, and what a decent picture as well, no getting out of that
  5. On the supes if the cambelt goes does it take out all the valves or is it the same as the mr2 3sge engine, and have a non interface engine which means if it breaks it does not destroy everything?

    golfs v soops

what about regals two engined nova , now thats fast, but who wants a nova
  7. A while ago i got a quote from toyota about the boot carpet and they said 320 or near that for it funny people them toyota lads, but they said it was still available. Put it on the wanted section and look on ebay, took me a week to get me one and cost 20 quid plus postage (better that 320 )
  8. They are the same that the FTO and Puma use, and depends if its a Jap or UK (did when i changed my front lights anyway) and they are 9003 or 9002, just take one out and take it down with you (easiest)
  9. But the spacesaver is such a good wheel why do you want to loose it 50 mph yeah then it falls apart best off without, at least you can have some tunes to listen to waiting for the AA
  10. You see quite a lot saying V6
  11. If your have done a SORN declaration that it has been off the road then the bloke buys it, he is entitled to drive it home, if he does get pulled by the police then unless he starts punching them they are not going to go overboard, prob just a seven day wonder to make sure he will buy it, plus it gets backdated anyhow. I just brought a car which was not taxed and drove it home no problems and that was fifty miles or so.
  12. Or just dont tax it! save you 90 quid and less hassle, if you do take out a policy and cancel it they charge you a percentage for doing so (10 percent roughly).
  13. It isnt emma off the Big Brother thing is it You did my spoiler fine matey, and your car looks the nuts so why they are winging
  14. If the garage are sensible then you could be in luck then
  15. I changed my light to uk spec ones and the bulbs in the main beam were different, there is only two types and they are quite rare apart from in either an FTO or a Ford puma etc, not sure but take one with you, all it is is one is smaller than the other (internal bit that seals it). Stereo is easy, just take the panel where the gearstick or auto shift is off, then undo five screws from the top section of your instrument panel, then remove the speedo surround thing (just pulls off gently), then prize the bit with all the switches i.e. air con heater conrols etc out carefully, and remove all nesercery wiring connected to the back of it, and hey presto no more car!! joke, then your stereo has four screws holding it in place with the antenna relay and the abs relay on top of it. Hope this helps if not there is loads of info scattered around.
  16. Did Dangerousbrain want you engine at one point, maybe worth letting him know

    Dilemma!

Most jap cars are built to last maybe even more than German cars these days, 100k on a 3ltr engine is nothing really, look round most cars even peugeot 106's have got that on them, and if a 6k car can manage it, and being french, a jap 45k car is certainly going to do four times that (as long as you look after it of course), but if your worried about turbos get a n/a, but i suspect you might regret it a bit as all of us on here love them, but i think most of us would not mind a TT
  18. SVA is Fog light MPH reading speedo face and cant remember the rest, but these are the worst. get a TRL digital speed converter though, the others suffer after time, and you can calibrate the speedo if it has aftermarket alloys on it, up ti 10 percent roughly, as mine is nearly spot on now
  19. Only one thing to do then!!! all put the prices of your supras up when you come to sell them I hope with the new insurance and the new import esva test coming around, it will make the supras and skylines in the country already a lot more sort after and therefor keep prices high (it is one of the best cars for 7k ish (n/a version), i mean what else could you get a new saxo
  20. Get a nice silver car then
  21. SUPRACHRIS

    Dilemma!

Seems cheap really even at 116,000 miles, make sure the turbos are ok and kicking in when they should do, apart from that general things to look for as with every car, but full Toyota history that probably cost more than the car
  22. A TSW one fits ok, well thats what i have to use
  23. Any ideas where the best place to get these are and how much, as mine are almost gone now
