  1. Nice to see a few supes there, and for the bloke who had the candy red GZ ,im not gay but could be persuaded , na very very nice car. And i am really thinking about another Supe now, so could be back from the FTO yet
  2. Yeah 60k is about right, as any car really (if you like it ), My mate is a mechanic at Toyota, and a bloke brings his uk supe which he has had from new in, and its got 350,000 miles on it , i think he uses it a fair bit lol. But apart from usual service bits they are very very good, plus its Toyota so reliability is second to none imo. Excellent car for the money even now, 8-9k will get you a low milage decent TT if you dont mind waiting, and they can be had for less (especially this time of year ho ho). GET ONE
  3. Supra if i was choosing, plus the cam belt on the evo, if it goes it will take all the valves out but on the supe it wont as its got a non interference head. Plus the supe does look amazing even as standard where as the evo is more rally looking (for obvious reasons ), but its down to personal preference, but for daily using etc i would still say the supe as they are mega reliable.
  4. Get the glass ones mate 300 quid all in from toyota, i put mine in the oven and did the plastex on them but still looked a bit crap so just bought the uk spec ones, and yeah they are a lot better.
  5. They are still limited to 155mph, but if you get a thor sld then you can interupt the orange wire coming from the ecu so you can do any speed but of course only 70 on the roads , are uk speedo's still really out then, i had to adjust mine by 8% by the thor sld to compensate for my wheels etc, and then it was right (gps etc)
  6. I thought it was only the J spec that was limited to 155mph and of course the lovelly 112mph in Japan, the uk ones should go all the way unless you have another limiter fitted, but if you have gone beyond that before then
  7. Yeah i have heard the same, just thought it was crap but obviousley not then , i better start looking in a while then otherwise supra prices will go up and up (hopefully in some ways) but not now as i need one
  8. People in the states are crazy!!! i mean you cant think that looks good, yeah a stock 200sx s13 looks much better than that and straighter
  9. Yeah sorry should of said, but black smoke = diesel
  10. Or valve stem seals or piston rings, not good White smoke is ok but not for long
  11. As in title really, just wondered if its much different from the auto (roughly 150 mph) and let me get this right, the first supes were 5 speed and later ones 6 speed
  12. sorry its an n/a version
  13. Been looking for an aerotop and found a Royal blue, 55k, 96 facelift supe, aero, auto, lovely condition for 10,999, is this good for a newer version? and an aero?
  14. Trying to beat the MR2's scoop weird
  15. Funny that same here
  16. Well put it this way what would you rather have, a 4 year old TT jap spec supra or a clio need i say more, but at least your missus can drive the clio:p
  17. Was hopeing that otherwise some serious probs with mine
  18. There is a firing squad to shoot anyone with red supras oh dear , no dont think so, not sure if they would put that on the adverts though:p
  19. Dont mention the 300bhp, people might think it has been modded and not bother, if they read up on them they will know anyway the power figures etc, but other than that what geoff says is spot on The market is slow now though, i have just sold mine but a lot more are coming on the market and not sure why really, and dealers cant wait to sell you something (not that this is unusual) at a rediculous price , well down here anyway, or maybe they just love me
  20. Its a renault , look nice but a lot of money for a clio, and being a 3ltr v6 it is quick but not that quick. 5GT turbo umm, love them too not sure quite why cause it always broke down but still loved it (raider that is 1990 , toy). 150+ in a n/a supe? is there something wrong with my one or are the vvti engines better at top end?
  21. I was told by one of the organisers that anything goes, but if you have a convertable or aero with its roof off you need a helmet, but that was it
