Need abit of help here guys. My mate has a Non turbo supra, which has the concept 600 installed on it when purchased. One day he forgot to put the car in valet mode before driving off, a couple miles down the road immobiliser kicked in and ever since he cant start the car at all. He has successfully reset the valet mode in the past but this time with numerous attempt its not working. Tried AA, but cant help him either. Battery has now been unhooked, and whenever connected back up the alarm would go on instantly (switches off after a while) but instantly on again when doors open or movement inside the car. I can hear the alarm chirp approx every 5secs. and i can hear a constant sound which sounds like having the hazard lights on, but twice as fast. anyone in the know how to fix? he remembers in the past to get into valet mode he had to have the engine started? we cant even get it to do that. tried calling the number in the clifford manual but no one ever answers Cheers

3/5series diesels. my friend bought a 320d not long ago, cheap and easy to remap to 325d equavalent... like wise if 325 to 330 etc. mpg is still great. quiet on the inside too. decent size car with decent size boot. he charted out an excel spread sheet of all the cars he was interested in. no merc's or audi's were better on paper. bang for buck on performance and mpg for similar size/spec car.

i have no idea about bike lights, i just use a £1.99 light on my bike lol check out dealextreme.com they sell alot of accessories for all sorts, pretty cheap. they have a $77US 900Lumens for bikes they also seem to have the same one you posted up for $119 approx £75 delivered. not sure if its fake or what etc. but reviews seem pretty good. http://www.dealextreme.com/products.dx/category.905

save and get TT. just because its 40k km less, doesn't mean it will be better. unless yours is badly looked after in the first place

I dont think Sony cares too much. IMO they've probably made enough of the sales now so they've won against hackers. plus they will probably just come up with a new update or once you play online brick the machine like xbox have done.

Theres so many variety of games now. its impossible to say what is best. but going back to what led the way.... IMO For PC Doom 2 is the pinnacle of all shot'em ups, then came quake/UT, counter strike and battlefield etc. strategy games has to be red alert or warcraft. arcade street fighter 2 & daytona console mario kart (snes) golden eye (n64) daley thompson decathlon on commodore64/spectrum etc. I was too young to play then but i remember my brothers bashing the crap out the keyboard till it broke playing this game, so musta been a great game handheld tetris (gameboy) mario kart & tetris (ds multiplayer)

you sound like you dont know anything about cars (nor do i to be honest) but when you jump the car, make sure your battery is +to+ and -to-

thanks mate. you seem to know your stuff about vr6's. so it appears to be a common fault... you know by any chance its worth fixing? and a easy job? I might just sell it off to my neighbour for a few hundred and be done with otherwise.

Anyone know what this would be worth now?? been sitting on the drive way for the past 6 months starts first time... 2.8 Vr6 Sharan, 7 seats, Auto. 100k+ miles can find out exactly how much 97 R reg green owned for almost 10 years now, one previous owner. bad part, there's no heating, the plastic pipe was cracked and disintegrated so was removed as it was leaking water into the footwell. Engine over heats and drinks water, gasket going? but as said starts first time and engine pulls like a train still. tyres are pretty much shot. central locking was starting to play up. its a pretty old car, so pretty tatty now. would be sold as spares and repairs. so no mot or tax. not sure what difference there are between the golf vr6 engine and this... but looking at pics they look the same and they all 2.8 thanks

useful information, im sure mechanics will know, but the majority probably don't... well i didn't I was puzzled why a simple jump start to the van was not working, was drawing power but not enough. long story short. neighbour took a look, said try connecting the Neg/black jump cable to the any metal part of the engine. voala, started straight away. probably the van battery was so dirty it had a bad connection with the cable.
