Have been phoning toyota dealerships on the hunt for pure sport mats spoke to a nice fella in Listers Stratford black mats are retailing at £70 ++ but for some reason the cream/ivory carpet mats are selling at the mo for £11 he beleives it is coz toyota have a backlog of them and can't shift them. Also told me that Toyota are developing a new supra with a V10 engine at the mo when he went to a Toyota UK meeting but they are trying to keep it hush hush oops not any more if its true

Lamp washers (horns) and bonnet scoop are normally a good indication as jap specs didn't have these.

Bought my supe from dcc its at Radcliffe in Manchester when I got there I thought oh my god they didn't even have a kettle the fourcourt looks fine but the office is a bit crappy. Still car was A1 and after a year of owning it no problems at all mine is a 93 gz TT and scary thing is I paid a 3 grand less than what he is selling them for.

Snow is defo a no go for me. Was on a slight hill and hand to stop at the top on a junction tried gently pressing gas pedal and all a got was a flashing TC light tried it of and the wheels span up. Tried it in manual mode in 2nd and 3rd no go again so some nice fellas gave me a push on my way. The most scariest moment was when I was crawling down a hill in traffic (about 15 degree gradiant) now I had my A/C on now I don't no if anyone else has found that it seems to be the only way to stop windscreen steaming up without boiling yourself, the A/C kick in and the revs raised just enough to kick the arse end out and I went sideways down the hill lucky for me I missed everyone and managed to grab it back half way down.

Maybe its my imagination but when i've got o/d off my car seems to change just before redline 1 -3 normally and around 5000rpm when o/d is on normally take car right up to redline in 3rd put the o/d on and can feel it kick into 4th when i'm really gunning it down a dual track however in normal town driving it doesn't seem to make any difference apart from not selecting 4th. But as I said it might be my imagination so will make a point of looking at rev counter next time I do it

Think the boxes are the same. IMO overdrive is very usefull in TT as it holds the revs longer in each gear which keeps the second turbo online can't say what difference it would make in a NA though

yeah I read about this the other day can't remember where. But to make it legal they will prosecute persons using them for standing in the way of an officer trying to enforce the law. However this may be interesting if it becomes law when the first case goes to court because if you are not speeding at the time a policeman points a radar gun at you then how are you actually breaking the law. Also most safety partnership vans are manned by civilians so how can that be defined as stopping an 'officer' from carrying out his duty as they are not 'officers'
