  1. These are still for sale... Go on... treat yourself for christmas, Santa will never bring you anything better than these
  2. I remember that well ! Chris - why too soft? is it related to the weight of the car? I've heard they 'go off' after a few heat cycles but haven't managed to get a definitive number on how many times they can be used.

  4. Well done Andy, well deserved 2nd place... that corolla was fast. It was a fun day and as Andy says - there should be more Supes competing. It could've been a whole different story if I hadn't pulled out ... shame the timing gear didn't register my third run, I was getting faster - honest ... but I did appreciate your 'last corner tactic' ! Oh - and thanks again for the jack ( I have 1 pic of the lineup at the end... I'll post up later. )
  5. sorry mate - replied ... ta no px's sorry - selling as I've already got replacements
  6. Jamie, Paul Whiffin's selling an almost new one : http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=127989
  7. ... Nice to have met you guy's and thanks for the assistance with my problems. As already said - It was a great day, superb weather and a very challenging layout, especially for the supes. I only managed two timed runs - I don't think the third run was registered, but still managed a 57.6 which put me 9th overall. Oil problems seemed to be the theme for the day - I suffered smoke pouring out of the bonnet after my 3rd run, and being on the cautious side didn't want to continue, especially as we couldn't find the cause and I had to drive home! Big thanks to Dragon Lady ( +1 ) and To Andy Barnes - who cast an eye over my little problem. Also, big thumbs up to Barry and Adrian for getting us involved in this.... make this a go next year guys - it will be great fun.
  8. Hi mate - to answer your questions - Pete was right Frames are Supe frames so fit perfectly. Unfortunately need to sell as a pair. Cheers
  9. Bumpy bumpy - something you won't feel with these
  10. These are excellent gauges, functional and easy to read... and don't make the dash look like a tarts parlour
  11. ARSE.... not going to be able to make this now - does anyone want to take my place ?
  12. a kind offer.... you'll only find out if you give it a go...
  13. Anyone coming to spectate at this? I take it there won't be a club stand or anything club organised?
  14. I can take some pics tomorrow if needed mate - haven't got anything on my doors PM me if you want them - It'll remind me to do it
  15. Good luck guys, have fun out there.....
  16. Yeh - we were talking to the marshalls at that point, and comenting on all the things we shouldn't be comenting on ( it was a converable ) I was behind the shed afterwards - post 'em up if you can mate, I'm always happy to see a few pics ... We stayed behind to get a trophy I was competing in another competition, but PeteP won that one ... on the Sega Rally in the arcade
  17. Cheers, I didn't know about it until Sat evening when I checked the timetable. There was a coupe of quick 'little' cars there, so I thought I'd give it a go.... didn't think I do any good because they were setting some quick times. So I went all out and beat them on the first run by 1 second, then tried again later and knocked another 0.5 sec's off Not bad considering one part of the course was only just wide enough to get the car through, and the slalom was a real tank slapper !
  18. Didn't get on the strip - but walked away with the handling circuit first prize At least I managed to own that for the Supes !
  19. I should be heading up the M11/A14 about 08:30..... Dunno if thats when you guys will be near there - I'll keep an eye out ..
  20. HKS, 18 months old, 6 months of hard work and no problems

    Sex in a Supra

Theres loads more room if you strip the interior.... Obviously thats just an observation
  22. .. I was wondering as well... I'm gonna give it a go. Might need some tips though - I'm not normally a 1/4 mile man, going round in circles is my thing
  23. Now I'm scared..... for me and the car I'm not sure I can leave daz on his own with my car... unsupervised .... It'll definately be lighter I've see the boxes of metal come out of that rex after the angle grider visit.
