  1. looks like another example of a riced up motor - def needs new wheels - I didnt notice any spoiler
  2. Just unscrew the 5 screws under the cowling and the whole top section come out - 2 minute job Theres 2 muliti-plugs on the left to disconnect and one one the right.... Presto you are now holding your top cowling, warning light assy. and bulb assy. in your hand really is a piece of cake to get to for investigation, checking with meters for dry joints or just plain, "wiggling"
  3. Sad news Ray, happened to me last year except I wrote the entire thing off. In a few weeks when its warm you'll have a Blingin soop again - good luck with the insurers and make sure you take any mods off before they inspect the car !!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Si + 1 Secondjump (maybe still in the rover ) 250 + 2
  5. Absolutley hilarious - funniest thread Ive ever seen - had me falling off my chair
  6. superb thanks for that one !!!!!!!!!!!! made my Easter Sunday
  7. Ive only got the rear cat out. If you widened the MBC hole you would get more boost but 1.0 bar in this temp is a safe bet. In the cold it would go upto 1.4. (As my car pre-MBC lost 0.4 bar from the freezing days we had to when the weather got warmer; I assume that the MBC'd car will gain 0.4 bar in the freezing cold) Disadvantage of the MBC is that you would then have to open up the bonnet to wind down boost on freezing days to a safe J Spec Ceramic Stock 1.2 bar. 1.0 BAR IS 14.5 PSI 1.2 BAR IS 17.4 PSI
  8. In the cold i was getting 1 bar (decat pipe) Recent warm weather went down to 0.8 bar Fitted the MBC and it went up to 0.9 bar fully maxed Then I read Suprasteves comments on making the hole bigger. So I did, and got out my trusty Black & Decker. Whoopie presto, 1.0 bar most of the time with a short max at 1.1 bar in 5th SUPRA STEVE IS A GENIUS ardasaliah thanks for your pic - very helpful mate footnote to other attempters: The end of MBC with the hole goes to the wastegate end (and not the other way round as I found out )
  9. thanks steve - done it - youre right 4th gear is best - I can get a max of 0.9 bar in the warm weather cheers for the advice
  10. Please can you post a pic or diagram - I dont know what pipe to plug my MBC into. Ian C provided some really good TT hose piccies. Is the hose on one of these piccies ?

  14. They all were very low 15 with a couple at 14.9 Yes traction was a problem as well and a fwd car did in this case take off quicker
  15. I loved my 5 speed NA until I took it to Santa Pod. There was a Civic Type R meet there as well and and every single one of those stupid looking gear stick-in-the-dashboard Hondas whooped me Yes I know at 120 I would've finally overtaken them - unfortunatley the Pod strip wasnt long enough
