Over the last 2 days, its finally been DRY (but very cold).
Once again I could push the car to 6800 rpm with no slipping rear end
But to my horror on 4-5 occasions in 4th gear at about 5800 rpm the revs stopped (just like a rev limiter kicking in) Boost gauge was reading about 1.1 to 1.2 Bar ( I think, difficult to read and stay on the road at this speed)
Normally reads 1.0 bar max.
So my question is - will this cold weather raise my boost by 0.1 bar ???
Is this wot happens when a FCD cuts in (just like a rev limiter)
Today was a little warmer and the revs remained normal upto red line
In the autumn car always went up to red line happily all the time
