  1. Meguiar's NXT Metal Polysh to clean them up. Followed by some alloy wheel wax - http://www.alloywheelwax.co.uk/ - every couple of months. Still get water marks with the wax but they will polish straight out - no need for elbow grease - if you have used the wax.
  2. Never tried the Supe but my Peugeot 306 was my tent many times! Back seats down, feet in the corner of the boot and head behind the front seats - loads of room and v comfy with duvet on top and sleeping bag underneath! Gets a bit hot though!!!!
  3. Nightmare buddy. Always best to get these things fixed asap so some other idiot doesn't see it and get a similar idea. Hope the exam went ok.
  4. When the guys on supraforums tried this they could not fit the 12". But they were making specifically so the targa top still fitted in the boot. I'd be keen for a single 10.
  5. Having had the stock, Superdragger and Nur-Spec, hopefully I can give you some valuable advice. On noise levels, out of 10: Stock - 1 Superdragger - 5 Nur Spec - 7 Nur Spec single de-cat - 8 Nur Spec double de-cat - 9 Which is equal to: Superdragger after 6 months with multiple holes - 9! Essentially, AFAIK, the superdragger is mild steel apart from the back box and so with a bit of salt on the roads is as about as useful as a colinder in trying to get exhaust fumes out the back box. The Nur-Spec is stainless steel throughout so its longevity is far superior. My HKS did not hang lower than the stock exhaust (apart from larger back box). My Nur-Spec gives much less clearance than the stock exhaust, but even lowered I have no probs with speed bumps. Hope that helps...
  6. Turned out there was no clip - just required pulling out! Last two questions!! 1. Does the airbag light really get affected by the doorcard? ie If I can't be bothered to put the doorcard back on until I get speaker brackets sorted out will that cause a prob? 2. Does anyone still have any speaker brackets for sale?! Nick
  7. OK, done that way!!! Much easier!!! Speaker refitting is going to require a bit more work than I thought as Matt H's effort has fallen to pieces. How do I disconnect the electric windows power lead? It also doesn't seem to come off so easily!
  8. Thanks for ideas - I've removed everything so the door card can rotate out to 45 degrees if I lift it that way, but it doesn't seem to "lift off" at the top where the bit of black trim is between the door card and bottom of the window...
  9. Anyone who's removed door cards... I've taken off all the screws and fixings. When the instructions say you just lift the door card off, how hard am I lifting?!! Do I need to remove the bit at the bottom of the window/top of the door card or will that just come off with the door card? Don't want to break anything!!!! But it doesn't just "lift off" from the top even though the rest of the card is loose now. Thanks, Nick
  10. Hopefully you'll see this DON'T GO to the insurance!!!! I'd be surprised if it cost more than £400 to fix in cash and will probably be less. Once you add up the excess and the additional premiums (c. £70-£100*3)when you have to declare it for the next three years it won't be worth it. RedM is right. even if you don't go ahead with a claim you will still have to declare that you have had an ACCIDENT for the next THREE YEARS when renewing if you have mentioned it to your insurance company!!!!!!!!!!! Get a quote done and work out if it is worth it but usually it isn't. Good luck with the exams. I have one next week. Not fun.
  11. Get the NGK BCPR7ES spark plugs and it's not much more than a tenner...
  12. Saw this on ebay... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-SUPRA-94-UP-TOP-SECRET-FRONT-BUMPER_W0QQitemZ8044826262QQcategoryZ72207QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Anyone tried one of these? If not gives an idea on price.
  13. Does anyone have these to hand please? Thanks, Nick
  14. This is gonna be easier if we have some definite numbers. 1. Nickyboy 2...
  15. What about after the intercooler?
  16. But you could change the position of the MAF sensor to after the turbo. That way it will not matter if you have a non-recirc bov.
  17. Hammerite smooth on my hubs - makes them look a lot cleaner. Get yourself a wire brush before you get started though!!

    Seats

They don't have Supra fitments yet...
  19. I think this is the original car... http://www.linney.org/Index.htm?1993silver6-speedSupra.htm Haven't had a good look but looks like a lot of the mods were already on it so you are paying about £7k for 30k miles having been done, lots of ICE and the alloys being sprayed black. Oh and the red interior... nice
  20. PM Francis - he is after one.
  21. right... cos I already bought the gauges without really thinking it through properly?
