  1. ok if i saw that id flip and my mates would be pullin me off of them! you should of seen me after i found a keebab on it!
  2. Supra TT only comes in Twin Turbo..... well for the turbo model, if you find a Single Turbo supra Mkiv, it has had a single conversion so check all work has been done that is needed if you want one Insurance cheaper...ud like to think so wouldnt u A import TT or import NA are about the same and in many cases cheaper for the TT....dont ask why coz i just dont know lol If you want Cheap insurance a UK spec TT is almost half the price. I actually know of a UK TT 6 speed for sale,(£9,999 i think) that i was looking at, not sure if it still for sale, but u can contact guy, if i can find details, he got a website with all the specs if i can find that too!!(he in newcastle area..opposite end of country to me) but they are abit more pricey coz they cheaper to insure. Room...hmmm it has 2 seats at front, plenty there...the rear 2 (yes there are 2) well 2 people with no legs will fit great! lol passanger side not too bad as you can move it forward as passanger in front isnt driving, but of course i have long legs so my seat full back when im driving. But i have had 4 blokes in it before. Boot...couple suit cases maybe? No seat up or down motion, but im sure ive read the Recaro seats seem to sit lower then standard seats, so try to find one with Recaros . Best test for that is when you go to look for one get her to sit in it.
  3. It was a rolling start mate, so thats why i kept up with him we must of been doing 50 already when we saw each other and im a 5 speed manual. If it was off the line he would of beaten me i would of thought. 0 -60 time for a NA = 6.4 seconds i think, obviously there is some mods you can do and it does drop in time. there was a thread a while back about mods to do to the NA and loads were listed, of course people say if you wana mod get a TT. but i got NA due to never having much luck with turbos! but they are very reliable and on stock turbos can run 1.1 bar safely. I think the fastest 1/4 mile in a NA on this site is around 14 secs (think it was stock, ill check). And Mandy on here has a NA with 260BHP so it is possible to get it up to turbo power without the turbo lag (dont have no 1/4 mile time for her). Also if in couple years time there is always the NA-T kit if you decided you wanted to jump up to around 350BHP - 400BHP dependant on kit and your right there is a lot of weight!!
  4. also in my NA i get about 25mpg and that is with some booting of it!! Standard TT is about 20ish i believe but start modding and obviously will start dropping. As for this MR2 turbo beating a TT i dont believe it, i raced a MR2 Turbo and he only just beat me and i mean only just by couple inchs on dual carriageway. (im totally standard by way, and he did say he was surprised how close it was) A supra TT time is 0-60 in 4.5 seconds, but to be honest that is its weak point after that the gearing is so good it just eats up the road like you said. I dont know what time MR2 turbo 0 -60 is?? The top speed on a TT delimted is 180 odd on a NA is around 150 mark.
  5. Running cost wise, i have been surprised how cheap it has been for me! I admit im a NA but in the 2 years ive almost had the car now not one problem. I have bought a Cam belt, Drive train belt, spark plugs oil filter, oil and i got it all for under £100 (obviously not from toyota!!)
  6. how much were they new then?
  7. NA = 220BHP (decat, exhaust, filter) = 240ish maybe little more UK spec = 320 BHP (decat, exhaust, filter, boot controller,FCD) = 360BHP ish i think (dependant on boost run) Jap spec = 280 BHP due to gentlemens agreement but believed to be closer to the 320 mark. The UK having steel blades and the J spec having ceramic,so spool quicker. those are 2 basics between Twin turbo, although the J spec have different models RZ, GZ. this is just extra features and not extra power. Yes you can get a manual 6 speed box for Twin turbo, not that rare as a import but as a UK spec very rare that they are for sale. also from 1996 on the Facelift model came out with VVTI gave around a extra 20BHP to NA and not sure bout the TT. Hope that helps
  8. ok well im off out now but last bit of advice before i go, is create a new group with permission for everything put yourself in it. try logging on and see if you can get on the box, then start removing some of the rights you have given to the group, then check you can log back on, and hopefully you can see what may be stopping you logging on etc... I would say a more technical route, but im not infront of server to tell you which settings to check! good luck mate ill check thread later see how u get on
  9. well this is a permission problem then, if administrator does it fine from a client box. And unfortunatly for you im not at work! so cant tell you what groups my normal users use and that allows them to browse the box. Check the Domain Users on the Server and see what groups they are in **if your using a domain of course, didnt ask or is it a workgroup **
  10. Ive had problems at work with my services, starting automatically that is. So ive stopped them and manually restarted them and they've worked I feel a big day of work coming soon you saying on client machien as administrator you cant browse box either?
  11. This has to be someone on here!!! they will know who they are? Very nice wheels and good looking motor, i was slower then i could of possibly be due to a 300lb mate and u only had a 50lb gf spent most of dual carriageway trying to catch you,but car looked awesome when you gave it some under the ford factory as you went to next dual carriageway. Take it you didnt realise another supra was up ur arse till i undertook due to Granny in outside lane
  12. You'll start them all off now on how im usually asleep! What BHP you make? Get a nice trophy to show for your efforts? Good job though
  13. was this that rolling road comp being held at different places across UK on same day??
  14. Silver is hard to match but i actually think it is just mainly down to the different angle from the normal lines of the bumper to the angle of the splitter. if u understand what i mean! lol
  15. It the lip...can anyone hear me..... IT THE LIP!! what i win If it aint lip ill feel like a prick now
  16. ok Angle helps....it the splitter colour:)
  17. dont tell him that he prob spent hours making them look that good lol:p
  18. it is hard to do it without insulting but to add what has been said the mesh doesnt look completely flat (maybe angle) Lenses look a bit yellow side skirt little different in colour? but that is all being nicky picky! i think all of us are gonna be giving you heart attack bout your car at this rate
  19. ok heres mine, my effort was high, but 35mins of freezin in loft i decided to call it night, 3 days it been like this(obviously not in door way! lol), the lights come on coz they on a timer then go off after bout 5mins. http://members.aol.com/killerferret666/tree.jpg
  20. Couldnt help notice someone took photo of his back..... obviously his better side!
  21. Ive just got home and it taken me 15mins to find this thread, why?!?!? coz there too many sections...this should be in jokes & humerous stuff!!!
  22. for the power the Turbo has amazing fuel efficency really. Although it does annoy me when you think TT have roughly 100BHP more and my NA does just 2-4 mpg on average better, rather have the power!!lol A TT car id be more skeptical bout doing it. On a NA i cant see no loss to it. No turbo charge to worry bout and like Oxy says switch to petrol when you want more power. Does LPG actually improve your mpg or is just cheaper as too the benefit. ohh and also in a car like a supra you'd make your money back much quicker due to low mpg in first place
  23. You gave me flash of your lights, wasnt really with it but got hand up, dont know if you saw. Nice looking car, think it was facelift model:)
