Bobbeh, you are right to a degree mate 512mb isnt much. but my pc at home is only running 384Mb SD RAM (dont pick on me ) and i run nero etc... and not once has my PC ground to halt on XP. there is no way Iexplorer should take up that amount of processing power unless you are doing something heavy in internet explorer like opening a very big visio file. no probs mate, hope u sort it i know how annoying PC's can be

ok looks like u have a issue with Internet explorer. whilst internet explorer is doing something it is obviously effecting the system hence system going up. State the obvious he says what i would do to test this is. install mozilla web browser. use it for a day and see if your computer still goes slow. this is sign of spyware / virus infecting your internet explorer but not always sometimes a windows update can fix it...obviously rarely Edit ** yes there are more technical ways of sorting it out. but this is quick and easy to test to see if internet explorer is your problem
