    My New Dash

Hey i know it sounds a bit chav, but i removed all my green caps on mine and painted the bulbs red(bulb paint)...looks good for nowt.did uprate the main cluster ones to 5w to give a slightly brighter effect. Opps sorry yeah yours looks cool too!
  4. Not being funny if you dont know what your doing probably best to get someone (mechanic)to guide you through it....saying that its not really rocket science.
  5. They are the exact same as merckx put in his link from ebay...the guy posted them to me the next day , you will have to tell him what you want Jspec or UK and you can choose the colour too. You get six in total 3x front and 3x back just incase of mistake's and you have to trim them yourself, looks easy enough though. I will put them up when i have done them so you can see.
  6. I've just got those decals from eBay and they look very good imo...mine are the standard look ones not chrome. Looks like eBay for the paint then and take a chance? Iam going to shot blast them first to get all the crud off them so i get a nice final finish...hopefully they should look like new then. Thanks for the replies guys.
  7. Hi all, I wondering if any of you have painted your callipers in a matt black! if so where did you get your paint from? as all i can seem to find is the shiny gloss stuff. Cheers
  8. New or good second hand...would consider a pair in a different brand. or even 275 or 285 as a pair. Please no punctured repaired ones.
  9. Hi iam Looking for 3x new or as new center caps for the polished 18" gs rims. Cheers.
  10. Here is an old pic when i first got my old car(now got a TT) and after when i removed it and painted the dash....

    My current toy :)

I saw that in my local scrappy all smashed up a while ago????? Ha ha not really...very nice never been in one! whats the ride like? and how well does the power get down?
  14. It will be fine...found though if it really cold the deicer just freezes too once the wipers are put on...have you thought about putting some tepid water in a bottle and using that if your coming out straight from work might work better no chemicals too, the wife has one of those screen things from halfords and she finds that works quite well...
  15. Please...you sound too nice to be a pleb?
  16. I would have thought so...or you could get up five minutes earlier and let the car warm up first...better on the engine too.
  17. me too ...good luck and 2nd dibbs;)

    Good deed

I was the guy in the silver aerotop next to you in the field at the last one...remember? we chatted for a while and i had just done a dash refurb...you were telling me about your bpu work.
  20. I never recognise people until its all too late and someone else has to tell me who they are.....I've had a few embarrassing moments, one being when i told the bloke from "Faithless" the band at a work event up town that he was quite good on the deck's and has he been on TV because he looked familiar? He of course was kind and said yea sort of but then seemed to want to chat for ages, now i know it was because i was really impressed with his talent and not for who he was...he lives in the Isle of white.
