PMSL, I hadn't noticed that! Trust you to though

I'm going there on a stag do June. Should be a right laugh! Any advice!?
-
I'm going to the Shell Garage in Newgate Lane in a while (gotta drive to Pompey) so I might have a look for it down there.
-
Nice one, that should be worth checking out

I'm feeling slighty better now looking at some of the replies so far! 50% of me says it's only a couple of quid, you won't miss it. If what he says is true then he needs it more. 50% of me says he's making it up, keep the money for yourself - it's yours by right. If he needed the money he wouldn't be splashing out on eBay

Haven't heard of that - do you have any more details on it? Basicly, where it is, who's starting it up, have they done it all before etc?

Please read...then decide! I sold an item recently for around £26, in the item description I said that P&P to USA was £11.50 airmail, or £5.50 surface mail. (it weighs over 1kg) I'm not making any money on shipping BTW. The buyer even asked me in the "ask seller" bit how much shipping was & I told him then. I sent the invoice etc & he keeps e-mailing me different problems he has & asking me to advise. (see below) Ouch!!!!!! S&H can be...well.....painful.... :o) With things as they are now...well.... Let me explain. A) my wife works for the State, and they pay a pittance. B) I am a disabled vet./former teacher (degenerative brain damage) 1) Social Security has been consistantly running late depositing my disability check (disabled from degenerative brain damage) and I know not when they will "get back on the ball" so to speak. C) Last October, our son suffered an Acute Subdurmal Hematoma in a football game. He underwent emergency brain surgery, and they pulled him throu. That injury has less than a 50% survival rate. D) As a result of that injury, he can not longer participate in contact sports. Thus, the miniatures are for him to keep him busy. E) Last night, my wife and I found out that our Health Insurance Company is NOT all the hospital bills, they are trying to stick us with 50% or so I've basicly told him that he knew what the P&P cost was, so without telling him how to run his life, maybe he should adjust his bid or not bid at all if he can't afford it. I also pointed out to him that his feedback shows he's bought loads of stuff lately. The e-mail I sent wasn't rude. It was 'considerately' worded, explaining I didn't want to sound rude or unsympathetic, but basicly I'd be more than happy to offer it to the next highest bidder if he didn't want to go ahead. I also kindly told him I didn't want to send it for nothing as I have my own problems (especially with money!) but didn't want to burden them on him. Am I evil!?! you decide with the vote PS the e-mail had another similar bit 'cut and pasted' at the bottom that made me slightly suspicious...

I was trying to be diplomatic! Seriously, even when I have one passenger in the car I'm sure I can feel the difference in performance. Definitely up for a re-match when you're all sorted out. I Need to get it dyno'd or checked over as well to see how it's doing horsepower wise. There's not many performance mods I want to do really (maybe 2nd cat out) but loads of bodywork to do. PS at least your's looks better!

Not a bad turnout considering the weather lately & the fact it was bloody freezing last night! There were around 8 MR2s, 4 Supras, a couple of Skylines, Nissan Pulsar GTi-r, Couple of Scoobys, coupls of GTOs & more Went for a blast up the M27 with James & the red beast. He had 2 passengers so I was slightly faster Shame you couldn't make it Steve. Can't believe you're selling the GTO as well!

I was considering not going earlier as my car was covered in salt & it had been raining this morning etc, but it got to around 5pm & it hadn't rained for a while so I cleaned the car quickly.....then it started raining about 20 minutes later! So it's gonna get covered in salt again now! great! It's only 2 minutes from where I live so I'm going to pop down & see if anyone's there. Maybe Steve's got nothing to drive as I saw his car on Autotrader yesterday! http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/WWW/cars_search.asp?nU=0&make=MITSUBISHI&model=GTO&min_pr=7000&max_pr=8000&postcode=PO13%200AD&miles=40&max_records=50&modelexact=1 (it's the purple one for £7800) Well see you there folks, hope someone other than me turns up!

Good to see the usual mob signing up. No convoy to the Newgate Lane McD's though James! Anyone else thinking of going?
-
Did you watch "IT" and "Poltergeist" as a child then!? My brother, who is 17 used to be (probably still is!) s**t scared of clowns as well!

Any comic book fans out there....? I watched Spiderman 2 the other night for the first time & was a bit surprised by some of the bits at the end. In the comic, do MJ & his friend (Harry?) ever find out Peter Parker is Spiderman? Does this mean that number 2 is the last Spiderman film, as they've found out? Also, I thought Harry was going to go "Green Goblin" when he found the secret stash behind the mirror, did he realise then that his dad was the Green Goblin & therefore forgive Spiderman? Not quite Supra related, but they've been really bugging me the last couple of days!

Errr...did they plummet through the ice soon after? It looks like it's breaking up! Class pics though!

Obviously of it was all about the unborn baby she'd wouldn't be smoking. But....I have a sneaky suspicion the noise is pissing her off more than she cares about her baby. It's probably hampering her daytime chat show watching or something.

Excellent, I don't feel like such a loser now!

For those too lazy to click on the calendar button.... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=87&day=2005-3-4
-
I've just put it on the calendar, it's on version 15 now after much messing about & trying to work out how to do it! At the moment I'm the only person listed, so I'm feeling kinda lonely, so if you're going - get your names down!!
-
I've moved this over from one of the forums, should be good fun.... Details here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=33684 Its going to be in the same place as last time (market car park at Fareham around 7.30-8pm) Directions Come off the M27 at J11 and take the main exit towards Fareham. Stay in the right hand lane and go over the flyover. You will get to a big round-about with a viaduct on your left hand side. take the 3rd exit to Fareham town centre and the main bus station. (the car park is visible from the big roundabout) At the next mini roundabout double back on yourself and take an immediate left into the car park.

Still looks good to me!

Very nice I do like RX-7's. There's something weird about them that I can't quite put my finger on, but they're still quality looking cars with great performance.

I know what you mean Seb, I spend about an hour everyday wondering what it would be like to have money again! I'm going to be buying a house late on this year, so have to have a long hard look at my priorities, but all I can say is that I'm enjoying every minute of the Supe at the moment. So, until you do sell it - enjoy it, rather than worry about owning it! Like Sakura said, you will have the opportunity in the future to get another, I was Supra-less for a couple of months last summer & it's not the end of the world, although I spent most of the time devising what mods I wanted to do when I did buy another! (oh yeah, I did some work too!) Good luck mate

Nice one Poor little sod

Why do they call it a V6? Does it sound better than straight 6? Or, is the option on Autotrader only V6 rather than straight 6!?

The food was rank, can't believe I waited for it! By the time I'd picked my mum up, dropped her off and got home it was stone cold and tasted like s**t! I think there should be some mkivsupra.net buberry chav caps made up for these occasions! I have a cap somewhere, but it's more brown and grubby than burberry and bling. hey...what's up with the Southampton McD's - you're on my turf!!
