Hehe! Twas me Another local member, are you coming to the Pompey meet later this month? I must confess I did clean it earlier today, so it was slightly shiny tonight I was down there trying to surprise my girlfriend who supposed to be jogging (I was supposed to be as well, but was busy out driving!) I got all the way to the end & phoned her, she was still at home waiting for me! A right kerfuffle! Didn't see any Supras though, or was you out walking down the beach?

I think they either like it or they dont! Max (the older one) is never interested, but Junior can't resist a tiny black snack! lol

I read somewhere ages ago that on average you swallow 5 spiders a year or something in your sleep. Not sure if it's an old wives tale, but it's entirely believable to me, with the amount of spiders I find runnig around. I was working in Aylesbury a couple of years ago, and staying in a caravan on a farm. I kept finding these massive spiders (biggest I've seen in the UK) in there, probably about 2 a week. I was working nights & every now & then my girlfriend would come stay there. I finished early one night & tried sneaking in. I opened the door & peered round to the bedroom bit & could see here lying there.. Crawling up the side of the bed, was one of these massive spiders about 20cm from her face! Another 5-10 seconds & she would have had this bloody thing on her face! I shouted at her to get up quickly & we spent the next half hour trying to find it. I know it's not very manly, but I can't stand spiders & bugs. yuk

One of my dogs (German Shephard) LOVES eating spiders, bees & handicapped flies I feel a bit mean slapping them out of the air & calling for him, but it's such good fun & he enjoys it!

Speaking of Hampshire spiders, I had a bloody huge one on my back the other night! I thought it was a bit of the duvet, but could feel it wandering across, so I brushed it off & then saw a black thing running across the sheet. I slapped it with my hand then turned the light on. It was massive! (& dead) Horrible little things. Wonder if those cave creatures have developed any nice diseases we can pick up? I say we take Penguins advice & concrete the lot up

LOL, I knew someone would notice that! I haven't managed to reinstall the dash panel yet, that will probably take me 3 days

There is an outline, but an outline of the whole unit, not just the button Anyways, I jumped in with the dremel last night drilling out a bit at a time, then sanding it smooth. I kept doing this & pushing the button in from the back to check the fitment. A couple of times I thought I'd done it, but the button was too stiff, but eventually the button poked through & the switch from left to right, & right to left is perfect with no rubbing. All I need to do now is move that round button down because it looks a rough cut & put something in the old hole (will have to buy a new gadget ) Quite a few times I got in a complete paddy with myself & thought I'd blown it, but stick with it & it looks surprisingly good

I'm a massive Conan fan! From what I've read Arnie was actually contracted to do another 2 or 3 films (in his prime) & theres been talk for years about him doing a follow up as the ageing King etc. I reckon the only "actor" who could probably pull it off would be The Rock! I know he was cheesy in The Scorpion King, but if the director was a proper fan it would be an 18 with loads of blood & guts & no cheesy lines / facial expressions. That, or get an unknown in.

I use it every time I park the car, so that's not really an option I've got a dremel here, so I could cut out the shape in the dash first (tight), then bevel the edges slightly, then try & paint them. You're right though, it probably will look a mess

I think the actual button needs to be half in the dash & half out if you know what I mean. There's 2 hooks aither side of the black "box" unit so maybe it hooks on somewhere. Maybe I could cut the dash as best I can, and put some sort of black / silver sticker or strip of something. I'm not sure where I'd get a piece of ally that thin & even then I don't think I'd have the skill to cut it to the right size. I don't suppose you can buy them...?

As I installed a different dash (silver) to the one I had in there (walnut effect) the only difference was I had a few extra holes & there wasn't room for the folding wing mirror button anymore. Anyone had a similar problem? What did you do? I don't want to go hacking into the dash, only to find it looks naff, or I've cut the hole too big etc I think normally you'd only see the actual button, and not the 4 lip bits around it. Are they supposed to glue to the back of the dash? Also, the button is probably too small to cover the big hole shown in the photo, so any ideas what would look good covering that hole? Any suggestions would be appreciated Cheers

There was a silver & gumetal grey down there tonight! I couldn't stop though as I was on a mission! Oh yeah, any date is fine by me, but I'll probs choose the latest in the vain hope I'll get some work done on the car by then!

Gutted, they look great. Are they really that bad? Silly question, but would the extra weight slow you down that much? I thought it looked like one of yours(!) , but I checked your sig and yours has different wheels & no Vortex sticker! Are they the same as Getrags, and some of the others in the photos do you know? Shame, as I really like the style of them. Did they fit over UK brakes?

Getrag - your Supra is superb! I'm not sure it's them though, I've gone through that thread & picked out some of the wheels I think it might be. Are they the same as what's on the grey Vortex Power Supra?(4th photo) (I'm pretty sure they're the alloys) The other grey / black one (1st photo) looks like the same as well. What wheel are those anyone please? The others I'm not too sure if they're the ones, but they look similar. I'll attach them anyway
