  1. None at all really, going for the wolf in sheeps clothing Once I've got a new front & wheels I want to save for a respray, so might get a Rod Millen then, but like the despoilered look (I think!)
  2. Silver rings? They're pre-facelift lights with clear lenses & the surround sprayed silver. I wont be changing them though as I think they're great!
  3. Oooo, very nice! Thanks for that. The spoiler is going. Still not sure about the LED though, I photoshopped that out of yours (hope I haven't infringed any intelectual copyright or anything!)
  4. Still got these 2, price reduced slightly. Like I said before, if anyone can suggest where I can get a box that big I'll gladly post them
  5. When you're talking about earthing, do I need to run another wire off the other connector onto something else? (metal) I was never any good at physics or electronics or anything Any suggestions?
  6. Can't you put on one of those hypnotic tapes & remember what you did? Or is it too deeply repressed!?
  7. Oh well, worth a try I guess. I can see it touching a metal bit when I press it in, but it's obviously not conducting on that particular metal. Is stuffing a bit of tinfoil or something in there a complete "no,no"?!
  8. Didn't you say you had fitted one of these recently? What did you do? Did you have the same "push in unit" as the one I'm showing?
  9. Wahey! The Boss kit fits BUT I'm having a problem getting the horn connected. I'm using the existing "plug-in spade thingie" which is definitely working as when I touch metal with it it beeps the horn! I've tried it in both the connectors on the new wheel bit (shown in the photo) this depresses when you put your hand on it, which I guess should move the live wire connection down to a metal part in the unit that should set the horn off. Well....it doesn't! Absolute zilcho when it's plugged in & I push down on it. Any ideas? Do I need to bodge it & stuff a bit of metal or something in there so there's a definite connection?
  10. OK, looking like the ironing board / clothes line is going! What about the LED though? Does nobody like the smooth look? Check out Andy's Supra in this thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=66642
  11. Whoops, yes you have voted. I just didn't know how to check
  12. 34 views & not one vote / opinion!? Should have added the "Don't care" option as well then! I'm going to vote, even though it's biased
  13. Opinions please! I'm getting a bit more work done soon, and have been thinking of getting the rear LED brake light removed & welded over etc. I've been debating whether & when to lose the spoiler for the last 2 years really, so: Edited - any photoshop buffs feel free to get rid of my spoiler for me
  14. Saw a gunmetal Supra tonight (twice if it was the same one!) once in North End & once in Southsea, beeped both times, got a wave the second time (I couldn't wave back as I was clutching the wheel too tightly & wondering when my brakes were going to work!)
  15. Yes...I'd much rather hear about Wayne Rooney and his broken foot every 10 minutes and what Sven likes on his toast in the morning, than be alerted to the fact that this is how beaurocratic (sp?) and pathetic everyday life has become. Can't someone somewhere just push a f***ing button and make the fine go away? Simple? Surely? Stuff the appeal - common sense perhaps?
  16. Looks very good! It was an eBay job? Aren't they all supposed to be naff?! What's the fitment like up close? Did the bodyshop guy have much to do?
  17. "YOU HAVE THE EXLUSIVE CHANCE" Ohhh, exclusive to what? eBay? That anyone can sign up on & bid. I wont even go into the rest of the advert. How do people like this actually afford to buy the car in the first place? How do they get through in life? Or...is it all just a sales ploy to get some sap to believe the hype?
  18. I think it was £545 or £645 or something, so with your helmet & gear it can be quite expensive initially, but it does pay for itself in petrol eventually if your only other transport is the Supra! I've only been riding for 2 years now, and most scary moments I've been lucky enough to see coming before they've happened. Did I read that you're 6ft 10!? No idea, what sort of bike you'd fit on! lol We should start a new poll on who is the tallest member on .net
  19. I love it - awesome I'd love a mental flip paint beast like that, but couldn't cope with the thought of stone chips messing it up!
  20. I used Paragon in Gosport (Orange place up past St Vincent College on the right) & they were brilliant. Did the 6 day intensive, having never ridden before & was totally confident & composed (not cocky) by the end of it, which made the test actually enjoyable
  21. Damn, the first sucker here
