As most of you know my car is off road at the moment so I have just got myself an old Runabout (Rover 416SLI ). Im after a CD player for it and speakers as it has neither! So does anyone have anything lying around?? I dont really care for what it is as long as it works, ive been on Ebay and i can pick a old CD player up for £10, Just before i start bidding (as i would like something quicker) i wondered if anyone had anything on here they want shot off ?? Hasnt that already been done???

Its not a case of mixing "a red" into the laquer, you have to use the "Candy red" as it is a laquer (as far as i understand it). Also dont use any other Candys apart from House of Kolor as other types are known to "fade/Bleach" after a few months. Im lucky as my local bodyshop specialises in candy/flip paints call Dave 02380 667992 and he will tell you all you need to know. They have painted several Candy cars now (a couple of 300zx, 200zx and a FTO in blue + others i dont know of) Also they have resprayed a few supras inc The Pink Ladys Pink!

Candy Red!! I had mine sprayed over a year ago and still loving the colour! It looks fantastic even when dirty! I would bear in mind about some of the things people have said as regards getting the right company todo it. Its not a "normal" Paint as the car is sprayed silver then gold then the Candy red is actually the laquer, the more coats of the laquer the darker it gets. The only downfall is that it cant be matched/blown over like a normal paint. I had my car keyed on the rear quater only about 10inches but there is nothing the bodyshop can do apart from respray the whole lot!!! Its a bloody expensive scratch but it cant stay there...

I know you have the overfenders but thats a damn wide front tyre
