  6. better, remember the brembos were an upgrade of the standard spec s14 disc
  7. yep i'd agree with you there the auto doesnt want to slow down when you take your foot off the happy pedal!! Brakes do feel a totally different class to my modded S14s 10 groove brembo
  8. one word the auto box is great, its great for pootling about in off boost and in traffic and its great for a linear delivery of power taking you upto 100mph very very easily. Still a bit confused on what all the buttons stuck on to it do though like MANU, Overdrive and the red button with japanese text underneath it that looks like an ejector button!
  9. lol CJ im no newbie when it comes to BB politics and the abrupt nature of some people, i've been well versed in procedure through my 2 years living on the SXOC board
  10. what a warm welcome the front number plate looks good to me, and the fog light can be removed, so please dont bust a blood vessel over it
  11. can you use the auto-spoiler with any after-market front bumpers??
  12. i've just had my green slip cont light come on too this morning after a spirited boot resulted in the back end coming out a bit in wet conditions. Once i switched off the light disappeared
  13. Whats the normal oil level when checking the oil level on the dipstick on a j-spec tt auto?? Mines just had a oil change done before i bought it and after a 15 min drive and cool down today i checked the oil to find it was nice and fresh but only half full on the dipstick scale. Is this normal??I checked the oil on the car before i bought it and it was the same half full again but obviously black in colour as it was old oil. Whats the usual oil level for a nice healthy supe?? I've not got any obvious oil leaks or drips, the car purrs lovely and no low oil warning lights have come on
  14. How long will a standard J-spec fuel pump last before it wears out and fails?? Also how much power can the standard pump supply sufficient fuel for before running lean?? I only ask this as on my old 200SX, standard fuel pumps were prone to fail after 60k miles and couldnt really supply enough fuel above 240bhp, hence the need to fit an uprated walbro pump
  15. i've got a tt supe now so im coming what times the kick off??
  16. well TBH there arent any real problems with it at all, the groaning noise has disappeared completely, it was probably me being a bit of a spaz with an autobox Purrs lovely and has 92kms on the clock which is nice too
  17. too dark!! too dark!! spotted deathstar off the SXOC on the way back on the M5 too!!
  18. just got in from bringing it home seems absolute sweet, had a top 200 mile journey from devon to the west mids in it Seems to purr as if its brand new too
  19. have a look at the techincal FAQs section for some advice on buying a supe ricky i've been told by peeps on the board that mileage isnt an issue for the engine, but the turbos may be getting a bit long in the tooth at 100+k... this is why i went for the one im going for with 60k ish on the clock
  20. picking it up 2moro, very very very excited
  21. what time are you planning on having it then??? daytime??evening??
  22. the tt im hopefully picking up seems a lot quicker than my 280bhp s14 on boost, its also smoother and more user friendly to drive off boost
  23. how long would the ban be for??? 2weeks - a month?
