Helps mate cheers. This aftermarket one im looking at in the link above says that it keeps the fuel going in so it doesnt damage the engine, is this true? And is it adjustable so you can set what rpm you want it to cut off at? PS - Darren im gonna go without any cats if i go for this.

Just having a little read up on Rev limiters. Just a couple of Q's. Is it worth fitting one to my N/A? Ive read that it obviously cuts the engine when you get to a set RPM but also read that it also makes a loud and satisfying bang. (also read that flames may appear with a good exhaust system and no cats! ) Seen theyre quite cheap(ish) too. Im really just after it for the sound and flames. Any thoughts guys/gals?
