my supe failed the mot today:shock: it apears that the driver side rear shock has leaked. so i need to replace it asap, the ones fitted to the car are birstien I don't know if i can replace just the one or to replace all four shocks as they have been on the car for a number of years & depending on cost. any info would be gratefull

To remove the old gear knob remove the plastic cover from the bottom of the knob slides down with a bit of force,undo the 2 screws & the knob will slide off you then have to disconnect the wires to the overdrive switch & refit these to the new knob, I had a similar one to theses on mine but it didn't last long as it fell apart,can't remember what make it was but I got it from America hope this helps Si

I've tried it & It doesn't work!!! I bought a fan like the one in the pic (used for model aircraft engines) for about £25 and fitted it to my mates mazda 3 Made no differance!

I'm renewing with sky as my current insurance comp wants xtra for mods & the call centre has moved to India or some where like that! very nice helpfull chap at sky quoted me £455 for my N/A body kit,alloys agreed value of £9k & hire car & wife to drive I'm 39 ish

Fitted mine today didn't notice any differance in handling but it made the car go 20mph faster than before!

Got my new strut brace from the states today only £34 quid

I'm disabled (chronic arthritis) and have had a disabled badge for 2 or 3 years now. When I go up the local ASDA I usually have to park at the other end of the car park if I do manage to get a space I get lots of abuse off people who think I'm OK ( only 40) just cos I drive a supe! Perhaps I could get me one of those little blue cars like in the old days. My friend who has cancer in the spine and is in a wheelchair used to get funny looks as well when he pulled up in his 200SX until he got his wheel-chair out. Personally I think the child spaces should be at far ends of car parks so all the little obese kids get some exercise before and after buying thier additive laden ready meals. Si
