TDraper, what width are yor rear wheels ? The stock wheels are 9.5" and they run on 255 40 17 so yours are slightly off, not sure how drastic the effect of this would be. Also, the brand of tyres can make a massive difference. By the way, not trying to teach you to suck eggs or anything but what pressures are you running?

I was about to post up some pics of my new silicone hose kit from envy. Anyway, heres a pic from the passenger side of the car, you can just about see the charcoal canister, the blue hoses actually make it easier to see the hose location. I thought the hole underneath the canister was just to secure the bottom part of the canister. Not sure if this is exactly what you need but hope it helps. Cheers mate.

Brilliant, I'm just in the process of ordering the KYB AGX dampers from MVP, what the ride like ? I'll be getting some J-spec spring to go with them so hopefully the ride will still retain some comfort.

Also are those tyres Yokohama ? how do you rate them compared to other tyres you've had, they seem to be known for wearing out quickly, have you covered many miles with them ? Cheers mate.

I think the fact of the matter is that nothing will be able to replace the Supra, you'll just have to decide which aspects your willing to compromise on. I can't think of anything at all that can provide the performance, looks and ease of ownership that the Supra can. That's why, even 12 year old ones can still command 5 figure prices !! Not much help was it that. Volvo seems like the most likely candidate, however, I've heard they can be a B1tch to work on, (mechanically).

By the way, I'm the guy that bought your old sub enclosure off you, seems like such an insignificant item after seeing your install. I thought you were worrried about insurance costs and the performance mods your car came with, you'll be driving round in a mobile theatre. Sooper-Supra, you already own headlights like those, except yours are silver inside instead of color coded to the car.

Chase, don't know if they're likely to have any left, I went last Saturday and there were about 5, all in white, but at this price, can't expect them to be around for long, maybe worth a visit though. Most people seemed to be going for the Skylines and Integras. The best thing is that that they have the standard bumpers and spoiler which you don't usually get with most models of Supras. I was amazed at the price, how much profit must they be making at the original price ?

When I fitted my HKS Type S FMIC I decided to secure it permanently down because I like the look of it. The high speed stability of the supra is astonishing and I wouldn't want to do anything to reduce that. Also, you will be surprised at just how light the spoiler itself is, the motor is the heavy bit and you'll remove that anyway. As far is clearance is concerned I've never had it touch anything, even the biggest speed bumps do not catch it. Mind you I will soon be going from stock uk suspension to KYB AGX with JDM springs ( the ones that go with Bilsteins) so maybe things will change. If you do keep it I would leave it unpainted, then you won't be gutted if it does catch now and again. Hope this helps.

Bought myself an X mods supra model from the 'Must Have IT' store in the Trafford centre.You can build and then modify these with higher power motors for more torque or power. Best part though is that it was reduced from £50 to just £12.50, also got some additional bodykits for just £2.50 instead of £10, bargain or what. Took a while for my wife believe that I really bought it for myself and not for a nephew or something. Heres some pics

Who told you they will replace the whole unit, was it a Toyota dealer ? Also, what do they mean, the spring as well ? There's probably quite a few people on here who have old suspension setups left over from upgrades who will sell all four shocks for pretty reasonable money, just post up in the wanted section. Cool, I have exactly the same problem, have an HKS S type intercooler and as with you the bottle is under the headlight. Where did you get the bottle and how much was it, also, is it still possible to fit an fmic panel. Cheers mate.

Has anyone changed from yellow billies to the KYB AGX's, what was the difference like? Is the softest setting on the KYB's softer than the billies? I have standard uk setup and am seriously considering the kyb's as they seem fantastic value for money considering they are adjustable, what would be the best aftermarket springs considering I want to maintain some comfort and don't want too much of a height reduction, ideally only about 20mm. Lower than the side skirts !! that's surprising Gav, I can easily drive over those square type speed bumps ( the ones that look like giant ravioli !!) and my exhaust still comfortably clears them.

I believe that the HKS Super Drager is generally seen is one of the quieter exhausts, but also quite free flowing due to the large diameter piping. It doesn't have the straightest piping but I think this helps give good ground clearance.

Mine has done this a few times in the past 2 years, don't know if it's exactly the same as yours but I reset the ecu by pulling out the EFI fuse for 30 seconds, worked wonders and acceleration seemed even better than before ! Must be worth a try, it'll only cost you 30 seconds !!

How long did it take you, any tips and pointers would be much appreciated. I installed my AVC-R and Greddy BCC on my own so hopefully this shouldn't be too much of a problem. Cheers
