  1. what do you need to know??
  2. thats certainly not the case for me as when i use mine on the weekend it has a long run from lincs to high wycombe.. when my brakes where serviced they sanded each pad so its fresh so not that either, can it be the discs that is causing the squeal then?
  3. sounds exactly the same as me, my brakes were stripped, cleaned ect... so it has to be them. As you say its getting on my tits as well, so much so that i dont want to be driving the car till its sorted as its embarrassing. Gona get different pads i think.
  4. Ok, put a post up a little while ago for squealing brakes, since then i have had them all stripped and cleaned, copper grease in all the right areas (with anti squeal shims still in place) found the rear caliper to be solid so that has been fixed, handbrake readjusted which feels nice and tight again, and it still does it.. so it must be the pads right?? they are Chris Wilsons all round so thought these didnt do this said problem?? or could it be the discs? its only on light brake like comming to a stop slowly, if braking hard its fine, sometimes it even goes then comes back again.
  5. should be able to come to this one if its on the Sunday.
  6. mine also does this, use to work as it should by flipping down and slide forward but now it only flips down, done it for a while now so yeah i am going to have a look at the said possible problem!
  7. Any reason why this cant be used on a TT or is it ok??
  8. Hi Have been getting a lot of brake sqeal noise which is getting on my nerves a bit, so had a look today, put some copper grease which has helped a lot, but did notice that the front driver side wheels, when i spin it off the ground i can hear the brake pads rubbing on the discs, so why is this???
  9. yep this is true as i have a company van and a fuel card and dont pay anything on tax for it, but it "should only" be used for work... If you have a company car its a different story, think you pay quite a bit for them..
  10. the bulb only comes on when you apply the brakes and the fog light is switched on.
  11. i saw some of you lot today, silver supra with some graphics and a red veilside one with some other cars, you lot were just leaving the services on the A52, think you were waiting for a black car to leave first, sounded nice... unfortuantly i was in a white van with GB alarms all over it..
  12. i will sort that out for you, (which one is it?) and the window switch, i think i can come down in a couple of weeks.
  13. no problem mate, let me know how it goes when your goodies get fitted!!
  14. i will take it off your hands please, send me a pm with your details.
  15. no probs for the wheels mate, thanks for picking them up from me...
  16. its in the pic mate? lol hmm, i do see what you are saying with the do-lucks... they are quite long and hang down a bit... and they are bulky... just the veilside are a bit common but do look good..
  17. i have got a set of veilside spats and a set of do-luck spats both waiting to be painted, but not sure which ones to go for, i also have the veilside skirts waiting to go on, my thoughts are the do-luck.. what you think? going on this car..
  18. well one of the legs will have 0V going to it, another will have a 12V feed when the lights are turned on, (this is normally the geen/brown wire that goes to the dimmer switch) and the other leg is the switched 12V to the fog light, and obviously you will need the 0V on the other side of the fog light at the back unless you are using your cluster??.. now the 2 silver legs are the 12V and the gold is the 0V, but just to make sure, put a multi meter on the silver legs and switch it on and if it shows it has closed or opened you know thats the 12V
  19. that auction was me selling the ECU, if you still want it let me know as it didnt sell.
  20. this should help youas to which one it is if your gauge isnt working http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=20451&highlight=easy PS yes the one with one wire goes to the gauge and the one with two wires goes to the ECU
  21. actually it was mine which I did but has since changed from that
