My mum had a similar thing. She got a call off someone saying her PC was infected with a virus. Knowing she had never even owned a PC she played along with it, keeping the caller on line for ages :-) He kept guiding her through steps thinking she was clicking things to download his malware, she kept saying yes I clicked that etc. After keeping him on the phone for ages he said to her, "has that now installed?" - She answered "you stupid fool, I haven't even got a PC!!!". Needless to say he hung up and she has never been bothered again since.

I've got the Tein Flez Z on my SZ. Went for these as they're fully adjustable and come with the pilliw ball mounts too. Weren't cheap though either as didn't want the bottom of the range one's. Found them really good so far. Can't say what the cheaper one's are like though. Not sure what I'll go for on the RZ-S yet though.

Anyone else got a garage Whifbitz cooling panel as I'm trying to fit mine today with not much luck? Looks like you have to lower the horn (guess I'll have to make a bracket?) as no cut out for it but what about the coolant expansion bottle? Looks like that's to high also with very little clearance to lower it. Any advice appreciated guys. Thanks. Paul. Forgot mention it's a 96 faceleft RZ-S if that makes a difference to layout.

Car will also come with stock set of alloys if sale price is close to asking price. Good bits / Recent work in my ownership: 13/05/2018 - New refurbed drivers rear caliper due to sticking and rear pads. 21/04/2018 - Recently had valve stem seals and service done at Performance@Hart by Littlenum. This included valve stem seals, rocker cover gaskets, cam seals, front crank seal, breather pipes, timing belt using all original Toyota parts. Serviced with Millers 10-50 race oil, oil filter, fuel filter and new spark plugs. Valve stem seals were done because the car suffered with very small amount of smoke on cold start up after standing and wanted to make sure this was sorted for the next owner. 07/06/2017 - Work carried out at ABP Motorsport in Crewe Cheshire, Tein Flex Z Coilover kit with Tein pillow ball top mounts, Front passenger refurbed caliper, Front disks & pads, Bosch S4 Battery Bad bits: Has the odd few stone chips, tiny dink in front bumper and passenger door from previous owner. Evidence of small repair on passenger door card. PRICE: £7000 ono Additional Info: Having owned a Supra myself 11yrs or so ago and regretted letting it go I set about searching for another. It took some months but I finally found this one. I acquired the Supra 12/02/2017 from a family in Wales who purchased the car from the first owner on 14/08/2016. It was his dream to own one because his dad had one and used to take him to school in it as a child. The first owner owned this car from when imported into the UK. The car shows 3 previous keepers, the first being the import company I assume. This car has been looked after and never wanted for anything in my ownership, always parking it well away from other cars on car parks (small dinks are from previous owner). As you can see above I even went to the expense of having the valve stem seals done for the next owner, I only had a tiny bit of smoke on first start up after standing for a while, so they could have been left but I would rather the next owner not have to suffer the work not being done. The car drives superbly, shifting through gears exactly as it should. Brakes are spot on now I've refurbed the sticking calipers. Comes with all the usual, power steering, electric heated mirrors, Cat1 alarm & immobiliser, Kenwood double DIN CD player, Rear Spoiler, Central locking, LSD, Electric windows, Air conditioning, etc. Please PM for contact details.

Hit pothole. Now the slip control off & OD off lights are flashing
PJJ replied to PJJ's topic in mkiv Technical
Hi Michael Thanks for the heads-up mate, I didn't get chance to scan for codes yet, hoping to do at the weekend. Sounds like it might be worth me speaking to JM Imports to see what sort of warranty the TRAC ECU has if it was repaired then (once I can scan for codes to see if it points to the ECU). Car has been running spot on, was gutted when I got forced into a pothole coming back from holidays in it from the Lakes :-( Don't suppose you have any paperwork for the ECU repair do you? Thanks Paul. -

Hit pothole. Now the slip control off & OD off lights are flashing

Thanks for the advice. I'll have a better look at weekend with working in the week. Is there a link for how best to check fault codes and descriptions of what they are. -
Hit pothole. Now the slip control off & OD off lights are flashing
PJJ replied to PJJ's topic in mkiv Technical
Anyone have any ideas on what this could be please so i know where to start? I've searched the forum and couldn't find anything relating to how mine has happened. -
Hi all Could do with help please. Coming down M6 doing 50 and forced into a pothole (someone in lane next to me and behind so couldn't swerve it). Now the slip control off & OD off lights are flashing. Parked up and turned ignition off back on but after few seconds they start flashing again. No obvious damage to wheels or under car. Nothing hanging off that can see. Car seems to drive ok and shifts through gears still and OD off seems to work still (ie. Still selects 3rd, 4th). But no manu mode. Car is 96 RZS Facelift auto. Any advice appreciated guys. Regards Paul.

Drift Limits Performance did an independent inspection on the one I bought. Took them about 3hrs and I got a report showing any issues. I asked Whifbitz but they weren't open on weekends unfortunately, but they said they were happy to inspect it also. I'd ask any of the two above or SRD to look at it for peace of mind.

found ***WANTED: Facelift Supra Twin Turbo 6spd Manual up to £30k***
PJJ replied to James Junior's topic in Supra Classifieds
The mods marked mine as "Found". Maybe if you edit the post it will allow you to change it from "Wanted" to "Found". Are you revealing what you found mate? Regards Paul. -
Hi Might be worth you trying to attend one of the events to view many examples, get some ideas and ask some questions/advice from the owners. Ace Café meet is this weekend I believe, which I hoped to attend but looks like I'm not going to be able to. There will be lots there to see.
