  1. I've had the same problem the other daY! TC light on off!.Also i'm getting an ECU light on when i go over 50mph. WHat can i do if i got a shitty kph-mph convertion?
  2. Ok i'll let u know Thanks a lot:)
  3. emm no,how can i check it? where is the diff fluid dip?
  4. Right, Sometimes when i pull away from standing i can listen like a "goup" noise coing from the diff? my friend reckons is coming from the diff and it sound like it, it is worst than last month...My friend also told me there is always a small play in the diff but thats getting louder now! Do u think my diff is gone or is on its way out?????? Is it going to cost me? Any suggestions please? Many Thanks
  5. I found out that is 600X300X97mm the TYPE R but does anybody know if its larger than 51 the "hole" for the pipework??
  6. Hello all I'm looking with my friend to make an INTERCOOLER and i will need the size of an HKS intercooler type R or type S. I want to know the width and the height also how thick is it? and the size of the "hole" which the pipe coming out/ Any help much appreciated.... Thanks
  7. Guys I've seen a convertion set from Japan where you can fit it and convert your gearbox(manual only) to upshifting!! sequential for around £200.Off course you will still use your clutch i suppose? Has anybody heard of this one? or used it? how good is it? They say is very good for getting very good times as you really minimise gear change failure...and is so cheap!!!
  8. So is a big single turbo (Complete with kit, manifold and everything else) going to be more expensive than £2,5K? Is a big single going to give me lots of lag though? whats better 2 hybrids or a big T78? i want to get anything less than 12secs 1/4mile... Which means i can hit a Lambo!! There is this Lamborghini i want to race:devil: and i really want to beat him even by a bumper difference i don't care.I know a Lambo can do 1/4 of 11.8 or so...He is really pissing me off with his kind of attitude-He thinks nothing can ever beat him
  9. I think 640-650 is the absolute max for a stock bottom end...I've seen quite a few run 600bhp very reliable..
  10. I've got an F-CON V which my mechanic can fully map it. The yellow Supra which broke the 250mph in Nevada(I think) was using F-CON V!! and that was 1000bhp!!.Don't compare a skyline's reliability with a Supra's. A skyline can onlt take 450bhp without any internal upgrades.A supra can get upto 600-650 without any problems..I think 700 is too much as you all say.I'm glad i got so much response from you,i'm not getting upset by listening u people its good to have opinions and personal experience,i mean thats why this website is here for to help each other... What is a direct port kit? So if i would like 100bhp of NOS i would have to get a direct port kit???
  11. Hmm, Hubrids stage 3,F-con V,fuel pump, injectors, exhaust, filter, evc, cams, type r intercooler, head work (ROUGHLY) yeah brakes off course and RLTC.I got the F-con V,exhaust, filter.I can get the hybrids on my warranty(because they are gone),so i think that i can have a nice 460 with some more cash..Stick NOS(with proper setup VIA the F-CON V) what i don't know is how much bhp on NOS i can get....Its a fact that Supra gearboxes are bulletproof and i'm pretty sure that a stock bottom end can take up to 650-670 hope so....
  12. I'm about to start some serious work on my engine and i was wondering.I don't have the cash for big HKS turbos so i was thinking to got for a 500bhp engine with all the usual upgrades apart from internals(off course cams though).I saw in max power the 850+ supra and it was based on stock bottom end!.Would it be possible to have 500bhp on the engine and 200bhp running on NOS?? or 700bhp would be too much for stock bottom end? any ideas? ( This guy at Max power says that 650-700 is fine.. and i 've heard this from other people as well)
  13. Bell is the best detector-Snooper i think does a REALLY good diffuser-I 'll definately have BOTH
  14. Bell is the best detector at this moment..But remember there is nothing can detect a pig targetting you with a laser gun b- (Being the first to target) - As soon as i get a job and get my supra fixed i ll get a jammer and a Bell detector-If u hide the jammer in your dash(sensor on the front bumper)-There is nothing they can do about it-as they can't see you using it! I'm sure there wil be others disagree with me but thats what i'll do anyways...I can't risk my license to drive anymore...i hate buses
  15. Hi George, The only thing everybody is forgetting here which is a must for a supra is a radar detector with such power you 'll never manage to stay with the "speed limits".From my personal experience police will always be happy to take your license away. GET A RADAR DETECTOR before you get the Supra....... Caught speeding Now i know i should have got a radar detector...............and a jammer:D
  16. As far as i know there are 2 types of FMIC one is good enough for upto 550bhp and cost around £700 and the other one is much bigger and cost £1300.In my opinion get the bigger one because one day all supras must be over 500bhp(hihihi) :):)
  17. Has anybody got any idea what BHP can i get out of 2 decent hybrids? and how much are they going to cost me?? (regardless of the rest(FMI,F-CON etc)- I have heard with camshaft,FMIC,F-CON and hybrids around 450bhp?? Would it be possible to get 500bhp out of the hybrids?
  18. Do u think that you can get away with a water spray instead of a big intercooler??
  19. Im not sure at the moment,i 've got already an F-CON pro from my previous car and i'm aware about all goodies which i need for 600+. Not sure of my budget as im in the process of getting a new job.But i think i would like to spend around 5K to get at least most of the list (upgrades)..
  20. Right, Its time for a replacement of my turbocharges as they 've gone..I was thinking of 2 hybrids which they won't blow my bank account(My mechanic reckons they will only cost £150 more per turbo than standard turbo's).But I was thinking once i'm changing them to stick a big single one..Will I get a lot more power out of it?? Company which sells them reckon is good enough for 600bhp+ though I dont want to go mad with internals as i don't have the budget for it.What kind of power can i expect without having to change pistons etc...(I know i will need a pair of cams and few more bits).
  21. My car's clock is got 32K miles and my starter Motor is gone is that any common?
  22. You see Adam,i bet you havent got a boost upgrade yet.The more boost you have the better noise you will get.Best is when you have a FMIC and then you bolt it on the new IC pipe exactly next to the manifold. You get really loud noise (Used to have the same on my ex-wrx).It was fantastic for scaring people. Was so funny they were jumping a lot of times.Cant wait to get a FMIC on my supra...
