  1. Exactly!!. We were running the engine to steer it off the trailer. The scorch to the pistons were because of the sacking of a METAL piece when he put the engine back... And Owen has pull the engine in bits i saw everything go there and have a look yourself. "This includes the refitting of the cam caps when my young chap knocked them over and I refitted in the wrong order" Yes refitting them wrong will damage the head at least you admit 1 out your 10 mistakes!!!!!!!! Anyway i knew you will start trying to explain using cheap excuses. Owen report's and pics will explain everything. If you want to talk about damages have a look at MY BRAND NEW CAMS/GASKET/RETAINERS. OR they were fucked as well before you fit them? because i bought them off miami GT and i gave them to you IN THE BOX!
  2. You Can See How Good Paul Is From His Examples... My Water Injection Was Hanging Off And My Diff Was Broken Yes Correct Nobody Spoke About The Diff Or The Erl Water Injection!!!! My Water Injection Was Off Because I Had To Replace The Pump. My Diff Was Broken But My Engine Was In Good Working Order My New Parts Were S I M P L Y Brand New My Cylinder Head Which You Took Out Was S I M P L Y New Because You Rebuilt And Fit Back!!!!!! My Bonnet Was Fully Resprayed My Pins Were There When I Gave You The Car!!! You Can See He Is Using Crap Reasoning To Explain His Skills Diff??? Water Injection??? Who Said Anything About That?? No Worries My Friend, Wait And See The Report From Owen And The Pictures Will Prove Everything I Say! How Did You Manage To Chuck A Metal Piece Inside My Engine? How Did You Manage To Fit The Wrong Sims And Destroy My New Cams??? How Did You Manage To Fit In The Wrong Order The Cylinder Caps And Destroy My Brand New Cylinder Head Which Y O U F I T. And You Are Talking About Water Injection?? You Are Dreaming

  4. From now on i WIll only take my car to Owen developments they are way proven in the UK and if you go down there and see their workshops you will be shocked!! I learnt through the painfull process there is no cheap way Do it right the first time
  5. I've heard of his background but i wont say it in here! Its not charming at all.. He agreed to pay me £1000 for all the damages!, i have over 3K damages over here...but when he agreed he backed off (yesterday) He wanted me to PAY to ship my engine to him!! and then he was going to check it??? to give me 1/3 of the damages!!!!We 've been trying to come to an agreement for over a month but he wasnt going to pay me for my f*cked bonnet, neither for other stuff which i AGREED because im sick of this and then he came up with that stupid idea. IM NOT AN IDIOT SORRY!!! I have full backup from OWEN and my previous mechanic(who is famous and proven) Paul spoke to OWEN and explained him all the wrongs he did! He even admitted most of them i know i will win -

  7. My engine was in good working order for the past 2 Years,never had to touch the bottom end. A piece of metal was sacked down my engine when PAUL put the engine back and blew up piston no 3 because he had the car running without a pipe. THE little boy who does all the work instead of PAUL put the caps wrong (ALTHOUGH THEY HAVE NUMBERS ON THEM!!!) and ruined MY NEW POLISHED AND PORT HEAD WHICH H E TOOK OFF AND SENT AWAY and H E PUT BACK TOGETHER. SO its damaged and i cant use it. I GAVE TO PAUL BRAND NEW IN THE BOX CROWER CAMS/HKS HEAD GASKET AND TITANIUM RETAINERS WHICH I PURCHASED DIRECT FROM MIAMI GT THEY COST ME OVER £1000. HE FIT THE WRONG SIMS AND WHEN I ASKED HIM WHAT SIZE SIMS DID U FIT? HE SAID THE THICKEST ONES!! You suppose to measure them first!!.That damaged my CAMS. I went there and the car first time started (AFTER 2 DAYS) but it was so noisy because of the wrong sims (Remember? ) This did further damage! to my engine.EVERYBODY knows if you fit the wrong SIMS you will damage the engine!!!!! Then because he had to open the engine 8 TIMES!! he ruined the new head gasket. Owen told me he even had the screws loose on the block!! Not to mention he was chucking oil inside the spark plugs to create compression!!.(like that was going to help) JESUS CHRIST AT LEAST HE DIDNT EVEN OFFER TO PAY FOR THE NEW PARTS WHICH HE DAMAGED. THEY WERE IN THE BOX SO NO CHEAP EXCUSES THERE!!. THATS OVER £1000 PARTS GONE.NOT TO MENTION DESTROYING AND SCRATCHING MY NEWLY RESPRAYED CARBON BONNET AND HOOD PINS!!! WHICH I PURCHASED FROM MIAMI GT AS WELL. He said "the air took it!. " Im talking about a completely irresponsible garage. Anyway PAUL can say what ever excuses he wants. The report which im getting from OWEN and the pictures of the damages will prove what I AM talking about. - Im taking this to court. Also Owen told me another car (I know who because that person told me personally as well) had to be towed there after PAUL tryed to fit a fuel kit and a big single. Owen had to refit EVERYTHING and they said if they would start the car would have BLOWN UP!!. Im not arguing here im just describing what i saw and what OWEN Told me! I will give to this forum a full report and pictures because I never lie. I will prove every single point i make. Enough is ENOUGH.My car has been VANDALISED IF ANYTHING!!. Its like when you wake up and someone has damaged your car outside your house.We all had this experience! On the top of that i had to pay £500!! for a f****d cylinder head and WRONG SIMS!! which f****d my brand new cams! I this this is disgusting Im left with over 3K damages paying for someone f****g my car up. "OWEN DEVELOPMENTS CAN VERIFY TO ANYONE IN HERE WHAT HAS BEEN DONE TO MY CAR" You can even go and look at yourselves my engine is in bits over there. _____

Has anyone seen the advert for a new bmw coming out with the steering wheel at the centre!!! and able to transfer it to the left!!!, well they say that "By the end of 2007 RHD cars wont be allowed on the main european roads!!!!" thats why they bring out this new bmw.Is this some kind of joke? what are we suppose to do with our rhd cars? HAs anyone seen or heard anything??
  9. i had the same problem last summer and my diff went so low on oil that it broke..So watch out.Probably it leaks from the seals. Im getting a TRD now..
  10. Is stainless steel back box system much heavier than titanium?Does it worth getting it replaced? Now carbon drive shaft,was thinking about it but dont think makes much difference..too expensive as well

  13. Dude, i've heard u were running 2bar+ to blow that piston.....A standard supra can take a lot more than 1.6bar..Dont crank the boost up remove your turbos, you have a guaranteed life time warranty of your supra engine...You will die before your car this way;)

Reason i didn't reply is because i don't want to start arguing about certain things which i've experienced in my car and been adviced by extremely experienced HKS professionals..I think some people are scared to push their cars to a safe limit and don't tune their cars the right way - which they end up to a blown up engine and obviously the one who did it will try and blame something else...Reason i bought a supra personally is because it can take 650bhp @ a standard bottom end! IF Tuned properly - PS At the end of the day we all try to share our personal experience and benefit from it. What everyone chooses to do thats a different story..and personal choices.

Well, like i said b4 its the mapping and what boost, we 've done so many tests using all the necessary monitoring AFR tools etc etc and there is not a slight sign of [email protected] the mapping and make sure everything works perfect. Im mad for different reasons:) maybe because i like single supras bit 2 much. PS i dont know what dude was doing at his pre-single, dont know how he mapped it or by whom - Dont know what boost he was on. And im not going to comment on someone else's car. I can only know tell about my car. There is a thing about standalone ECUs. F-CON s which i got can be forgiving and drop back bit the ignition if u dont use such a high octane fuel. F-con Pro its not forgiving at all - If u use high boost and advanced ignition timing lets say u have 2 different mapping one for stock fuel and 1.5-1.6 boost and 2nd mapping 1.9 for racing fuel. Then yes if u use stock [email protected] with the 2nd mapping you have a guaranteed blow of ur motor - (- My friend in Greece has a monster supra who got 600@the [email protected] bar and he has been going on for 2 years with stock pump fuel. believe it or not -). Im not saying i would go up to 1.8@ stock fuel but has been done, although i agree its risky anything above 1.6/1.7 - 1.6 on stock fuel for me is fine.I've done more than 7K miles on it and i've never had any det or any ping. I've test my car both here and in Greece (different climate). I suppose mapping its a very important issue, you have people mapping their own cars and then blowing them up couple of times@much lower boost than 1.5...You cant blame the fuel or the ECU! PS I've always taken the advice of someone very experienced not individuals when it comes to mapping If your car [email protected] then you dont have adequate fuelling, what size injectors u got? what fuel pump? what ECU? Its very vague when someone says my car pings at so and so boost. Me too if i had 550cc injectors my car would have blown up long time [email protected] bar.
  16. I've run 1.7 on my supra with optimax many times. Also my friend in Greece build a supra 700bhp@the [email protected] on standard fuel..He did say though that was the absolute limit..
  17. V.good results but if I had your pistons i would run 1.8b.. 1.3 is quite low for your spec, you can easily get another 130bhp on your car.

Scooby corners faster than a Supra?? no way, a RWD corners by far much better than any 4WD, having both a 340BHP wrx and a 400/600bhp supra, a WRX is faster only on wet roads where u have no traction. The other day i was following a wrx and we went through some fast cornering, at a point he lost it! i thought he will crash... When i went to buy a supra I drove a 380bhp supra when i had my 340bhp wrx going from one to another i thought my subaru was broken or something i was flooring it and wasnt moving much(obviously in comparison with the supra). Then i sold it PS Its also the driver i suppose when it comes to corners 4WD understeer... Supra rules straight, downhill uphill motorway sideways Whatever way you see it a supra is faster

Like i said b4 i've always used F-CON and im more than pleased, never had any problems with it and i dont see the reason changing to another brand..When it comes to performance, what do you think is the difference if an AEM/F-CON PRO/Autronic, i really dont think there are hardly any performance differences when you see the big BHP in the US they tend to use AEM because they had lots of experience with it but saying that they had lots of problems as well. Yes Marco did 8.5 using an AEM but then again in Japan theu only use F-CON V-PRO in all their big bhp skylines and supras and they 've done 8's as well, as well---Also in the US there are few 1000RWHP+ using V-PRO they both very good but i think HKS are more carefull where they give their software and rights to avoid what AEM is experiencing now "problems". HKS has been faultless proven. I really dont think switching from V-PRO to AEM to Autronic would any of the big bhp cars would see any significant bhp difference, its down to the mapper again...NOT the ECU. F-con has been unpopular here because people can't get the software and map it freely anywhere. But if u can get it done then thats for life once and forever you wouldn't have to worry about any problems if mapped right, i will stick with HKS - Its what they say you pay what you get
  22. CJ, apparently there is an official HKS importer/tuner in Greece. Trust me - THey 've got very good knowledge of tuning over in Greece, they 've built a wrx of 1000bhp+ going 9's, they 've built 2 M3 turbos with 800 and 810 @ the wheels and other crazy cars. Anyway this guy works for the HKS importer of Greece(Athens) and he is called "SYROS" he is over in Athens - I hope this covers you.
  23. By the way, my tuning guy and the one who will rebuild my engine is from Greece with lots of experience from racing over there and mapping solely HKS F-CONs, he comes from Greece just to do my car and few others!. I guess im lucky to know him:)
