  1. Understood gents, best doing it once and for all.
  2. Morning All, I believe I may not be the only Supra owner to have had this problem so thought I best drop a thread in here hoping for some advice really. My boot lid has the dreaded rust around the lower part of the window/seal. So much so the rust is actually lifting the seal up. I want some guidance on what is the best route to go as I want to do the job once and not twice if that makes sense. My options as far as I am aware are; 1 - Cars in a bodyshop at the end of the year getting some bits done, do I get them to remove the rear window/cut out the rusted areas and paint/fit a new seal 2 - Buy a second hand Boot Lid with no rust and get it sprayed to match my car My worry about step 2 would be I do all that then it's a ticking time bomb as to when it may rust in a week or a few year, no one knows.
  3. x2 Full Weekend Tickets Purchased - Myself and a mate
  4. Morning All, I am interested in getting an entry ticket/food/drink etc for myself and a mate travelling in my car. How do I go by ordering the above or am I too late and need to go through Nigel/Yakushi? I had the black Supra on its lonesome last year haha, didn’t know anyone so all had our own pitch
  5. Morning all, I have a jdm supra tt 1996, dash and lights are all facelift so I’m going to assume that’s correct. The car already has a aftermarket momo steering wheel but I’m not a fan so I have purchased a nardi wheel with a whifbitz boss for an airbag. i won’t get around to changing it soon due to the weather and car is in storage, my query is is there a big difference in boss between airbag and none airbag just if it takes me to April to fit I’m worried I come round to doing it and what if I’ve bought the wrong boss and needed none airbag etc. Basically I’ve no clue if it had one or not.
  6. A friend who’s been around aftermarket clutch’s advised me its all chatter with the Spec which disappoints me for the fact I fitted the oem dual mass fly to try tone that down. If I drive the car further up the rpm as in change to 4th (any gear) a little higher up the rpm I don’t get this chatter (60/80% less), it’s only when I make the clutch/car pull through lower down the rpm range where I probs should have down shifted to keep rpm up (lazy). I may still take it to the garage just to give it the once over though as say gearbox and car drive fine no issues on that front.
  7. Totally understand bud, it’s the v160 gearbox
  8. Do you have any suggestions for checking the gearbox? Gear selection is fine in all gears
  9. Hello All, Wonder if you guy's can help me, I have had a Spec 2+ clutch with OEM flywheel fitted for over a year now and its been bugging me ever since I've had it fitted tbh. To begin with the clutch was fine, it gripped fine and I had zero chatter. Following getting 2.5/3k miles under it's belt it began to chatter but to the point it sounded like a bolt was rattling about. Still grips absolutely fine and this chatter does goes away after a certain rpm is reached. Dip the clutch the chatter goes away and much louder when hot. Just wanted some advice that's all is this normal/to be expected or should I be taking it back for the garage to inspect further.

    F1 2023!!!

Itching for the season to start now, started watching the latest series of drive to survive to get some f1 viewing in
  11. Been to Rising Sun, JAE and Yakushi for years. I’ve always went with my local club from up Newcastle but everyone’s priorities have now changed and numbers have sadly dwindled over the years so I reckon our stands just going to be my Sup plus 1 or 2 mates motors. If you guys throw this next year I’ll sign up and join up with you all. If you see a random Sup out the way give me a shout
  12. My RSR is now on ebay lads, decision made. Haven’t went silly with the JDM tax either I’m guessing you know when it’s time for a change

    F1 2022!!!!!

Merc don’t seem to know how to adjust/adapt where others have been chasing them making changes for years. Fingers crossed they find something soon, I don’t like the idea mentioned on sky of raising the car, it would ruin any stability they had in the first place

    F1 2022!!!!!

Agreed it was a missed opportunity and as you say they’d nothing to lose. Happy for Norris/Russell always

    F1 2022!!!!!

They used to be the best in the wet, but according to Toto they’ve said they’ve zero grip. Imagine a car hopping along and bad weather to deal with lethal

    F1 2022!!!!!

Kind of hard to watch Hamilton having no option but to concede his cars shite and that every weeks ‘rescue’ week. To go from total domination to lucky if he’s in the top 10 must hurt. Not looking forward to numerous Grand Prix races must suck for a driver, is it all simply down to this hopping/not getting the power down or is something else a foot?
  19. I wonder what an RSR exhaust would go for nowadays as they hardly come up for sale
  20. Can anyone recommend me an app for investing in things such as dogecoin? Tried Blockfolio but that’s failing
  21. Also to add to my query, why when searching do some people fit for example 35 height to the rear and 40 to the fronts? Is this big powered Supra’s only?
  22. Hey all, I’ve searched many threads but would like your advice if possible. My BPU Supra has te37 alloys on in the below fitment - Rear - 18” x 9.5J pcd 114.3 of+40 Front - 18” x 8.5J pcd 114.3 of+40 With Front - 225x45 r18 Rear - 255x45 r18 tyres, but I feel like they not only look like tractor tyres but feel nothing can anyone recommend me some sizes to look at ordering tyres wise, the car is a summer time car only and doesn’t see track. After speaking to a few friends I’m probably looking at ordering some MPS4’s but need a good tyre size setup, not looking at stretched tyres etc just something that not only keeps the car on the road but looks as good also. any help/guidance is appreciated
  23. That’s strange Rob, HKS Europe advised if I had a 3” 2nd decat I’d have to chop the step down off as it’s like 2.8” crazy - - - Updated - - - Didn’t fancy the 4” as it’s over kill with me still having 3” decats
  24. thread revival currently comparing the two systems. Rob W I’m not sure if you’re still active on here but I’d like some more info regarding your setup. The HKS taxing design confuses me a tad, how did you get over the 72mm step down that connects to the 2nd cat pipe. My cars BPU’d so has the 3” decat pipe but loads have told me this system is not true 3” at the flange/connector. Can anyone clarify, I’ve been on all the hks websites etc. Currently contemplating the blitz due to the issues above.
  25. Welcome dude, I’m based at Durham. Be good to see another one about
