Would you suggest the alternator then with the system under load and low volts? I'm away from the car so can't test it at the minute. I thought if it was the alternator though there would be a battery warning light or similar?

With the card at idle I get over 13v across the battery

Went to jump in the car the other day and battery was dead. Jumped it this evening and started fine. Drive about 20 miles with no issues. Reversed into a parking space. Put both windows down so I could see properly and when putting them back up together it seemed to be draining a lot of power. Lights went dim. Reved the car ran it for a further 5-10 minutes. Made sure everything was off. Turned the car off. Went to start it again and wouldn't start with symptoms of a flat battery. I had no warning lights or anything previous so I suspect the alternator is fine and guessing its just a duff battery? What's people's opinions? Cheers

What's the best battery for supra TT auto?

Creamy oil cap is probly just condensation as said above. Clean it off and run up to temp. Make sure it dosent over heat and check again. Oil expansion tank is bad and also mayo on dipstick

I've just done my lights and some water/condensation seems to be getting into the drivers took it apart and cleaned it. Resealed it again thoroughly but still doing it

Thinking of doing this myself but white. Found a gun that would be practical. If I buy the paint do thinners need to be added or can it just be sprayed straight on?

Do you have a restrictor ring fitted in the exhaust?

I need to take off the inlet manifold/plenum to do some work. Is there any gaskets to replace when doing this or can the same gaskets be used?

Take the belt off and check for noise on the alternator bearings. If your handy you maybe able to get away with changing the diode pack

No aftermarket sound system. Have a Clifford alarm. If the alternator is on the way out does it bring up any warnings on the dash? I noticed last week my bolts dropped but the car drove fine and later the voltage went back up. When I parked up I think the voltage seemed ok but can't honestly remember checking so maybe the alternator was only partially charging. I'm also going to ditch the turbo timer as I think it's been playing up and also I belive it maybe a fake.
