but if you owned a Turbo then surely it would work a little bit? You wouldn't just have a sealed box with a pipe in from the A/C. You would have say, a cold air box, a feed from the A/C and a feed from the bumper. Would that not be better as it would be putting in colder air aswell as what would normally be going in? Then again isn't the air from outside cool enough? We are in England!!!!! Nahh, bad idea

I can't believe how crap Toyota garages are around here like Kevin. The one next to mine are complete monkeys, havn't got a clue, nobodys got any knowledge of Supras and apparently they have to handbooks or anything like that on the car. And there supposed to be Toyota specialists........mmmmmm Plus they have no stock in because at the end of the year there not gonna be a Toyota dealer......No parts in stock??? No indicators or anything. CRAP!!!! Plus how do they justify £60 an hour labour, thats just stupid money when the mechanic still gets £10 an hour or something... Theres a new Toyota garage just opened at the metrocentre so hopefully (touch wood) they might be a good dealers....... Paul

Saying that Michel on here got 517bhp on the rolling road and he's got standard Turbo's on his. So this lad selling could be telling the truth. Paul

Hi Kevin a lad on Supraforums.com had a similar problem with a car running rich. they said it could be the VPC sensor. Does that sound right? Not sure what that sensor is. Have you looked on those boards mate? Paul

tried mine earlier on, my revs go up when A/C button is pressed on. No cold air comes through hardly. Well no Air con anyway. When the buttons were pressed as you said they all flashed then only the auto ones. What does this mean great Terminator?

second time i did it about 10 mins ago everything flashed then only the auto button flashed what does this mean???

i'm getting a wierd high pitched sqeeking noise from mine when i press the clutch but don't press it all the way. Sometimes comes on when i pull away aswell. Anyone know what it is??? It's pi**ing me off now. It's quiet but annoying! Iv'e took off the push rod and ball joint and cleaned it but still it's happening!

mines doing this aswell. When i press on the air con it doesn't work very good, well hardly at all. But the revs go up quite a bit. How do you fix this? What does holding the buttons when starting up do? Paul

it is that part, when i put a screwdriver in the gap it stops. Iv'e greased all the parts but after a while the sqeeking starts again! Can you replace these parts? I havn't been able to grease inside the rubber housing mind, i havn't got a ramp Paul

you can get Turbo kits in the US that give take the non turbo from 230bhp to 350bhp. But i'm not sure what components in the engine the kit might replace!!! Dodgy stuff NOS, but if it's installed correctly then it should be fine. I would only use it occasionally (he says now). I'll have a look on the US forums, cheers for all the help though

I don't see why 75bhp wouldn't be a problem like, Saxos and Corsas put 50-75bhp jets on them! And this is a big 3.0 car.... Can't wait to put out 350bhp without lag!!! Think it'll be next year though when it gets used on the dragstrip at POD and i'll put it against some Turbo's eh??? See how she does! Paul

I'm after NOS when i go to the states in 2 weeks, but not sure what engine mods will be needed to handle 75bhp jets. I was thinking just a new clutch maybe? I was also told that if i had a digital progressive controller i could put 120bhp through it. Is this true as my Supra would go to 350bhp........ Any help would be great, as i don't want to blow my engine by not preparing it properly. Paul

Anyone know where the clutch cable is next to the engine? When i put my clutch down a little bit theres a tiny (hardly noticable) squeek from the engine. Just needs a bit WD40 on it to loosen her up a bit! Anyone had this happen, or know where to locate the clutch cable? Cheers Paul
