  1. Yep, you wanna see there list of components, they put us lot to shame!!! Paul
  2. No i'm not planning on doing this conversion, just wondering if anyone in the UK has done this before? And if so has it been sucessfull and worked well, reliable etc? On the US board they seem to get 500 RWHP with these kits on. Which is very good indeed..... It would be nice to know, just out of interest. Paul
  3. Yeah i think i was just unlucky!!!! Thing is, everything has been replaced now and whoever buys the car from me will get a really good car. Paul
  4. Cheers guys, i'll try that tomorrow. If the problem is still there then i'll drop it off at the garage. It's up for sale, so needs to be perfect or i wouldn't sell it on. Someones gonna get a very good, looked after car when i sell it on......the amount of new bits thats went on it!!!!! Paul
  5. Cheers mate, iv'e worked out that the oil is from when the old oil filter was the wrong type when i bought the car and was leaking, iv'e cleaned it up and it's fine. It's just the power steering fluid that needs topped up i think. How would i drain out all the fluid and whats the best stuff to top it up with? Would this cause a rattling aswell, as when i was at the lights and moved the wheel there was a wierd rattling noise. Must be something to do with the PS Cheers Paul
  6. I wonder if anyone can help, everytime i startup the car and move the steering wheel theres a noise from the power steering, it's a very loud grinding noise, not your regular PS noise, do you think it needs topping up or does something seem not right? Iv'e checked the fluid in it and it's just below the cold indicator when not running. Also on the engine it's self next to the oil filter (where 2JZ) is marked on it, theres a bit of oil, anyone know what this problem is? Problems problems problems............ :flame Dev
  7. Yeah i'm gonna stick with it, i think iv'e just picked up a previously unloved one. I have had to replace the rear shocks, the diff, and clutch....hopefully there shouldn't be much else eh??? Paul
  8. Why is it that all the problems happen to me? It's really starting to pi$$ me off now, i get the clutch sorted, than another problem happens....Iv'e never had this problem with any other car and it's really starting to annoy me now. Think if it keeps on like this the Sup could go....... I was actually thinking about a Twin Turbo next year, but now i'm not so sure, what if i get the same problems? Or worse!!! Anyway onto the problem, i was at the lights lastnight and when pulling away i had this catching metal noise from underneath, my girlfriend said it was from the wheels but it's hard to tell when driving. Iv'e never checked the car yet, just put it in the garage lastnight in disgust! It also made the noise while still and moving the steering wheel. When cold, or if you turn the car off then back on it won't happen for a while. Garage trip??? ARGHH My dad reckons it could be something to do with the plate behind the front brakes as this got bent when the brakes were off, but i guess we'll have to check today. Am i the only person getting these problems? The cars done 65k so maybe everythings needing replaced now Skyline next maybe?????? :flame Dev
  9. There was still super Unleaded though mate in the 90s
  10. will you even get back to the petrol station with £10 petrol I would just run it down and fill up on Optimax, then add some Octane Booster from ENVY and job done! Paul
  11. no i havn't ordered the ARB's yet, just thinking about it at the moment. They are made by volk Racing apparently and are true JDM. I had a email from a lad in America confirming this. Paul
  12. I'll be running KYB Shocks and Espelir springs, which are for the JDM market Paul
  13. how do you mean mate? I'm not very technical when it comes to suspension etc. I know a bit, but not much on Sway Bars. Have you got the titan ones or TRD ones? It's them being adjustable that sounds good compared to the TRD ones
  14. Has anyone heard anything about Titanmotorsports new Sway bars? There adjustable sway bars and are 2 way adjustable on the front, and 3 way adjustable on the rear. The price works out to be the same as the TRD kit over here at £350 and thats inc shipping, the quality of the Titanmotorsports one looks great and is 27% stiffer than the TRD ones. Would anyone recommend Sway bars? Could you tell if you swapped them from the standard ones? Paul
  15. Mine that i got from Titanmotorsports are genuine toyota ones from the facelift models, but are totally clear and have no amber plastic in them. Just the orange bulbs till i can get round to ordering some Silver ones. Mine were a right pain to fit though, had to file back the plastic where the bulb goes in as the hole was too small And also i had to buy different orange bulbs, as the ones i got with it were different. I'll post some pics eventually..... Paul
  16. Yep those are the same as mine, got them from Titanmotorsports in Florida. They look very nice Paul
  17. i got mine in America and they havn't got a amber lense. There clear, apart from the bulb mate Paul
  18. haha cheers mate, i have the release bearing so i can calm down now. I would hate to have to pay £200 again to put in another bearing....... Ta, Paul
  19. Hello and welcome mate
  20. bloody Americans man, don't know what there on about!!!!!!
  21. Is the release bearing in a clutch also called a throw out bearing? Just iv'e recently bought a new clutch which has come with plate, cover and release bearing. But on supraforums they go on about throw out bearings. Just wanna know if these are the same thing really. Cheers, Paul
  22. cheers mate, i'm not sure if anything been done to mine before it came into the country, it would be nice to race another N/A. any challengers want beaten?????
