  1. hi - does anyone have pics of their dash (3 dash type) from a 93-95 jspec auto tt ? i would prefer close-ups of the dash showing all the lights (warning, tc, od etc etc) switched on if at all possible. i did a search but came out with generalized cockpit pics. i am looking to change my dials and since mine is in the shop, can't take pics of it to show the dialmaker (right word?). thanks guys.
  2. (hesitantly)...31st pls for moi
  3. sounds like you guys had a great time. ash and i were just sayin' that we both missed this due unfortunate circumstances but that we would be out in the very near future. lookin' forward to it!
  4. from what i have gathered, conventional wisdom has it at max 1.2 bar (i could well be wrong) with those mods, so it looks like if reliability is your goal, then you are bang on target. waiting to see if this is right cuz if not, i cud then up the boost on mine as well..
  5. i thought about that after the posting (doh!) and will also be having that looked at. from what i see, we are all driving on different sized rim/tyre combos and maybe this has an effect as well, especially if the intial geometry was pegged at stock after putting on new size rims ? fyi - mine are 245/40/18 n 285/35/18.
  6. have the same problem - front end goes light around 130-ish so have decided to get the front aer-lip fixed in the permanent down position and hope this will solve the floatiness. got new tyres going on as well and intend to do an alignment jobbie as well and between the two, am hoping to solve this.
  7. don't think justin does these dials any more so maybe MJ is the best bet for now. anybody know what it costs to get done and how long it takes ?
  8. glad to hear the auto-box clunks and thuds as well. have the same problem in mine and was wondering if something was going to give up the ghost soon...
  9. does it look kinda like this ?
  10. think there are a set of fronts in the for sale section.
  11. i get quite a bit of bottom-scraping so have to go over humps at an angle (which pisses of everyone else behind me cuz i go slow) and have been thinking of changing exhausts (my current one is big-bore but no discernable brand that i can see). have been leaning toward the nur but still unsure...may be time to get CW style raised pipework ?
  12. done the same as B3ANY and have had no adverse problems as yet - despite giving it some stick.....

  14. aside from the fact that the car came like that, i shuold have clarified that it has been my intention to change the shocks to probably a set of koni's eventually. why are lowered springs on standard shocks a bad idea (not a techie) ? i must say that compared to a few supes i have sat in, mine is quite comfortable without TOO much body roll so far ... was wondering if that wasn't too bad an idea considering london roads?
  15. i have the stock toyota shocks but with H&R lowering springs. i kept the ride comfort but thought it looked better lowered slightly. unfortunately, those damned humps don't help ...
  16. no problems with the cover. thanks earth.
  17. barring any unforeseens, i'm in....... this will be first long range ride in the supe so will be looking forward to this. So far: Names: Ash + Clair Earth Rokka Green Supra Roy
  18. nathan - if you find out what the price is, pls let me know as well as i think mine is beginning to pack up also. there is a funny rattling sound everytime i either raise or lower the driver's side window. thanks.
  19. hah - thought so ! seemed a bit off when i first read it but not being a techie - thought i would post it to draw a few chuckles (... which it did). michel lane said : ============================================== ' ill sell you one which works better then that , its a hybrid version from a hairdryer kit... ' ============================================== know a lot about hairdryers then , do you michel? just joking
  20. was browsing the ebay site when i came across this. whaddya guys think - a bit fanciful or total rubbish ? methinks rubbish .... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2406806201&category=33741 but then again - what do i know ?
  21. sounds about right to me...
  22. top job matt! mine isn't due until the end of the year but would obviously prefer cheaper insurance as well as more 'understanding' insurance!
  23. just noticed similar problem over the last few days. the start in the morning starts at about 1500 then normally drops to about 800 once warmed up. recently, while sitting at the lights, i noticed the revs blip up to 1000 then drop again and keeps going up and down. is this a warning of something not quite right ?
