Did you get any footage of the weekend? Noticed about 3 cameras on the roof of the Supra during the runs lol. Was really impressed with the runs I saw, definitely one of the best cars on the day. Just a shame the steering let go at the last stage. All the best with the rest of the series guys!

Ah I see, think I caught a glimpse of yours from a distance. Looked really tidy from what I saw! I had to leave just as the SATS started his first round, had work at 6 how did he get on?

I ended up being a little sunburnt haha. Nah I came in my mates GT4, not picked up the Supra yet. Hopefully this week sometime. I think I saw that, was it the one next to the Golf and the MG's, Rat Rover etc?

Was quite a good day, glad the weather stayed dry! Saw a Sup on display towards the bottom of the straight and of course the SATS Supra smokin' as well as ever, great display!!

I'll should be there, Supra or no Supra. Still unsure as to when I can pick it up.
  7. Be interesting to see if they recline at all. Cause the kinda person that would drive that about would want the backs of the front seats at near horizontal!

Went to see it last night and my face and sides were sore from laughing so much. Easily the funniest movie I've ever seen! And pretty similar to the TV series so if you're a fan, it's quite simply a MUST!
  9. Surely it's not got some sort of jumbo jet seats in it? Oh no, wait.....yes it does.

Just insured my N/A at 21 with 4 years NCB at £650. All mods declared on a 4 car multicar policy with Admiral. I'm happy with that if you're getting quoted double!
  11. Welcome mate. Just joined the club myself and picking my N/A up on Friday. I'm 21 and will be using mine as a daily too so I guess we're sort of in the same boat!
  12. Awesome. I'll try keep an eye out for any Sup's in the car park! Thanks again guys for the warm welcome. I'll try my best to make it along to the next available meet
  13. Congrats mate. I've been lucky enough to have a dad who's daft about motors and it's had a big effect on me. Career and hobby-wise. Been a great excuse to spend time together over the years doing something we enjoy
  14. That looked like an awesome launch and would've been close to the 10 second flat mark I reckon. But looks like a gear was missed or something later down the strip
  15. Yeah looks like I got my car maybe a few weeks too late otherwise I could've maybe come along! But definitely worth the trip another time, hopefully next year Don't suppose anyone will want a trip down to Knockhill for the BDC next week? The week after Suprapod so I'm guessing everyone will be pretty skint from the petrol etc.
  16. Thanks for the warm welcome. Quite surprised at how lively the Scotland section of the forum is! All the other forums I've been on is usually pretty dead but it's looking much busier with you lads
  17. Thanks lads. Just got a phone call there from the current owner who was told to expect the new V5 Tuesday-ish. Which means I'll probably be able to go through on the Friday to get it. So another painful, carless week to wait yet
  18. What a hero! 'Joining in the riots later on too?' Proper laughed at that!
  19. Thanks mate. The cars in the Bathgate area just now and the guys had it for a good few years. Probably seen a good few shows around about you. Couldn't believe how clean it was for a 15 year old car! I'm just outside Dundee in Monifieth. I think theres a red TT nearby but it's for sale. Couple more around the city centre but no idea if they're members or not. Soon find out I guess

  22. Hi guys, Decided it was time to move up in the world after 2 years of owning a Focus. Was looking into going Jap, mainly a 200sx but kept coming across rusty shells and high mileage bin jobs. So I thought I'd have a look at Supras and fell in love with the very first one I looked at and decided to buy it! N/A, 6spd, grey with 66k and a few mods. Currently waiting on the DVLA to supply the current owner with a new V5 with the original reg details on it since he's retaining his personal plate. So I won't be able to pick it up/get pics until that happens The DVLA site says up to 3 weeks but does anyone know how long realistically it takes for the papers to come through? I've heard it usually comes through quicker. EDIT: Hopefully this pic from the PH ad works: Cheers, and here's a few snaps of what I used to drive. Looking forward to getting to know a few new guys from the area!
