The gear stick moves into gear but the car doesn't feel like it goes into gear , but the pedal gives feedback

Hi So I brought a car with a bit of trouble it's an Audi with gearbox / clutch trouble clutch pedal has got feel to it how every no matter what gear you select the car doesn't seem to engage in that gear , Need to have a closer look but what does everyone think

Hi Looking to be going round nurburgring end of June, I went last year and cooked the power steering [sHOCK][/sHOCK] should of read about it first, however this year looking to fit a power steering cooler and oil cooler what do you lot recommend ? thanks
