  1. since selling my supra ive hated my self every day but theres a shell on the cards. might be a while but ill be back out there soon i hope i miss the meets
  2. I was thinking that but it something slow to work on while my points vanish from my license haha
  3. Any shells out there for sale. something i can slowly work on through the year?
  4. Point taken mate. But all is sold. He's happy so as long as he is then I am Keep up the good banter
  5. In all fairness it's completely understandable when you look at it like that. But there are some people out there who just don't care about what they got sometimes. I had a brand new punto a few years ago (sad to say) and a year later it looked like it had been constantly used for 4 years straight. No makings on the buttons no more and it just looked crap. With the supra I think I just ended up owning someone ball ache. Guttered I couldn't finish it
  6. Hows it been clocked :/ It hadn't been sitting for a while. Just just found it cheaper to take the train to work every day so I didn't use it. She runs like a dream. All the way back up to Newcastle it didn't skip a beat so I was told.
  7. FInaly found time to check up on the thread. Nothing went to heart guys don't worry. It's the first time I've ever sold a car to be honest. They guy was more than happy with the car when he took it for a test drive. He's stripped it down already am ready for spraying soon. I'm sure you'll see pictures up soon. I got more than my original asking price in the end too. Thanks for all the replies all
  8. Thanks for the honest replies guys. Sad to say the cars was sold last night. Will be sad to see it go. I just didn't have the hours to work on it like I thought I would have. 5 more years and I'll be back in the market for one again Thanks again guys Ben
  9. ok i didnt know where to put this so i just put it here i need help on how much my supra is actually worth so honesty would be appreciated yestrday i put my supra project up for sale. due to promotions in work giving me long hours and spending what little free time i have with my little family i no longer have the time to put into my supra. yesterday i put it up on a supra page on facebook for £2500. instantly i was told to up my price and i was selling my self too short. so i put it up to £3000. after upping the price i was getting inboxes telling me its not worth £3000 becasue it needs a spray job and its an auto. so after being told by alot of honest people on the post i put up im on here where i should have put it up for sale in the first place. i got the car for £2500 and ive put a little over £1000 into it. its an NA 65000 miles silver full sony xplode system recently had a service. new plugs new dizzy cap and rotar arm new belts replaced ecu 4 new tyres ( done about 80 mile) comes with extras. i managed to find original front bumper and spats. both need spraying. skirts they also need painting. new exhaust all she realy needs is a respray and some tlc cant think of what ells i have right now but ill update when i remember
  10. get some pictures up of your OBD's chaps. because mine has both. round one under the steering wheel and the rectangle one under the hood
  11. you were right on the button mate thanks again and everyone ells for the replies
  12. So after spending a fair bit of money on bits and bobs i finaly fixed my problem. it was my ECU. but safe to say i needed new plugs, the belt, the new dizzy cap and arm, and a full oil change haha. still one problem after a other even though its fixed! didn't know i had run out of insurance while it was laid up doing nothing. so the shopping's not over just yet
  13. did you ever sort your problem by the way?
  14. these were going to be my next buy
  15. i know i know haha but they did need replacing. you should see the state of the old ones. when she was running she was running better. was just guttered to see it drop out on me again
  16. scooter. i dont have a speedo converter in mine. but i do need a new speed sensor. that fault has been flashing up for ages now. but don't really think it will be the problem. thats just stopping my speedo from working
  17. ok so today i finally got a day off! i fit the new dizzy cap and arm. started fine, wasn't rough at all. with the old one in my car just about started. took it for a short drive to the garage to put air in the tyre and it was driving nice. pulled up to the compressor and then it just cut out again. now when im driving it and the revs start bouncing all over the show i can smell fuel. and i noticed it used allot more fuel than it usually would to get the garage which is a 3 minute drive away from my house, it used up far too much fuel. looking for more options. i can see me spending silly money before finding the problem haha oh and i also realised these things are happening when the engine get up to temperature.
  18. I'm just happy to find someone who's had a similar problem so i can come close to fixing my problem. My supra is my A2B and I never have time to check problems. No error codes have been stored on the ecu. Code 42 but that's an old error
  19. Figured it out in the end. My break disk had a huge crack in it!
  20. My ecu is the original. The ecu was my first thought to be honest. But after changing the spark plugs the problem went for a night. Then found the problem with the dizzy. That fixed it for a week. Now it's back again
  21. You still having the same problem? You think your ecu is faulty?
