  1. Ive heard a few do the bmw conversion and i heard its better. Supra gearboxes are over priced in my opinion. You might spend £3000 and then the 20yr old gearbox dies. M3 gearboxes are easy to get hold of for £400-500 and are much smoother and can hold big power. May take more modifying to fit but i believe in the long run it will be better. Can you imagine the prices of the v161 in 5 years time
  2. What do you mean a lock up switch?
  3. How did it go paul? Just fitted my david p gearbox and 3600 high stall and it seems to hesitate slightly when you full throttle off the lights
  4. Im in north london. Dont think it uses standard size bolts. I dont know much about it.
  5. Its a rip off really. Benjy got me 5 litres from toyota for £20 cheaper then toyota near me with trade discount
  6. I bought this a couple years ago and havent fitted it. When i bought it i was told it was a 3600 stall torque converter. However ive spoken to precision industries and they believe that it might be a 4000 stall. Im unwilling to take the risk so im putting it up for sale. Someone else may not be bothered as to what stall this is. I paid £400 for it but im not expecting that amount back. You would need to get bolts for the torque converter and possibly may need for the flex plate. Im not 100%. Bought one today off benjy that is 3600 stall. £150 ono Collection preffered as its heavy and has oil inside
  7. But ive heard the toyota stuff is the best. I used the titan stuff before with no problems
  8. Im looking for toyota atf type 4 but toyota want £135 for 10litres. Just wondering if theres a discount for forum members anywhere or does anyone else know where i can get it
  9. Have you ben? What sort of money you after? And does it come with bolts and stuff
  10. I might just do that and maybe one day when im bored ill fit it
  11. [email protected] Thats their email ben. If you message them now he should get back to you as they just messaged me back a few times
  12. Well pi have messaged me back saying they believe the torque converter is over 4000 stall but im unsure whether this is true. Might sell it if anyone wants it. I dont know whether i want to risk it and have to do the job twice. Or shall i believe the seller who says it was 3200 or 3600
  13. I bought a hi stall torque converter a while ago which i believe to be precision industries. Was with david p today who was a true gentlemen and made my spare gearbox "hybrid". He brought to my atention that the bolts may be different! Can anyone help with that? Also the flex plate holes are a fair bit larger than those of the torque converter. Is this normal?

  15. Its from 2015. You sure its a supra? Rear lights looked like a fto
  16. Manifold and downpipe decent. My manifold was braced and has been on my car 2 years and no problems. Turbo not great. Wastegate i would use. And oil lines are crap
  17. I bought this manifold for my single build but ive gone with a divided manifold. I bought it from ebay from america and with import tax and postage it cost me around £170. Im willing to let it go for £100. This is the link to the exact manifold and gasket set you would receive http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/310957986489
  18. I had these on mine. Grip was good but wore out a bit fast to be honest. And i didnt do heavy mileage
