Manual for me coz rarer and a more 'involved' driving experience.
  2. I tried to get arty with the photos, not easy with an iPhone 3GS!!!
  3. Anyone pick the winner? I did hehe £5 at 17-1 Nice....
  4. Hi, This is the start of my Supra Project. I bought the car in March 2011 and will be keeping her forever, literally for keeps! Everytime i want to or everytime something goes wrong then i`ll upgrade the parts! I`ve posted some original pics on the following thread: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?243580-Headlight-Cleaning-pics-) Here are some proper pics of how her life has started in my hands! Lots of plans over the next few years, starting with a trip to THOR racing next week for a checkover as i think she needs a FCD and new plugs. Will post all updates in here.
  5. I've dealt in kits before and I know what they are like Bumpers only costing me £150 delivered though. Right if that's a good price then smashing- thanks
  6. Hi Got a price today off a bodyshop chap who's a friend of our mechanic. Price he said was max of £300 to fit and spray my signature front bumper- inbuilt into this is an assumption that it won't fit bang on (replica) and so will need some work. Is this a fair price?
  7. It works for me! Terminator 2 and 4 pack of carling
  8. Beers, DVD, lye on sofa and you will relax and fall asleep
  9. Thats me mate, i`m going to be subtle but unique My old Sup was a bit more OTT and i`m stepping away from that now, engine wise in time it will be mad but bodywork will be subtle.
  10. This next http://www.ultimate-inc.co.jp/signature/supra/img1.jpg
  11. Thanks mate, I'm really Pleased with how the passenger headlight has turned out
  12. All, Whats are the thoughts on these? Does anyone have a picture of them fitted to a white Supra, cant find one? Thanks Chris
  13. Put the headlight back in this morning and then cleaned and polished her for the first time Lovely weather for it too!
  14. See if anyone has any pics of similar mate
  15. 90c for 6mins. Defo worth doing!
  16. I`ve plans for big power eventually so induction has been recommended
  17. Yeah had more trouble finding the seal and fitting them in the oven!!! Came apart ok though, and yes i reckon the drivers may need doing now! Will post pics tomorrow and see! THOR next for a checkup to make sure all is well and new induction kit.
  18. Oh and the mats f&cked now!!
  19. All, Decided to clean my headlights today, ordered some Meguires plastic cleaner and polish, got some 2000grit wet/dry sandpaper and nicked a tube of silicon off my dad! The drivers headlight was ok as you can see in the pic below, but the passenger one was awful, really yellowed and let the car down loads. And after a spell in the oven, lots of elbow grease and some swearing its back together and going off over night on the kitchen floor! Pretty pleased for a £10 and a couple of hours work!
  20. Already have they said no restrictor ring and no FCD - which doesnt go with what happening to the Boost. Gonna let the pro`s check it out. Its running fine on the road but the car is a 'for keeps' car and i`ve plans for it over the next few years so i need a solid base, so checkup is the first priority, make sure everything is as it should be.
  21. Booked in at THOR for next week for a checkup. Want the car perfect so they will sort. Im not placing too much reliance on the graphs as i dont know who did them etc and it may not have been done right, plus the car pulls well and something must be holding the boost at 1.1bar or it would just go higher!!
