plastic repair before flocking.....

Today was my deadline for the panels being ready and going for flocking at 6pm as id booked them in last week........ I made it and they have now gone and ive been told a turn around of about 2 weeks due to the amount of work (ill put prices on when i get them back) My plan from the start was to flock the dash,door cards and arm rest....well that went out of the window this morning when i decided the following parts were getting sent Dash,door cards,arm rest and all attached parts,kick plates (that go on the top of the foot well below the door),foot rest,blower surrounds,all 4 speaker covers,rear speaker surrounds,door handle surrounds,A pilar covers,boot panels inc top boot cover (under spoiler inside the boot) and the window surrounds....... As im using 4 point harnesses the holes for the standard seat belts are no longer needed so as you will see in the pics i got rid of them,also i had to do some small DIY plastic repairs as one of them had a crack i didnt know about

well i spent a whole day and at least 30 runs looking at all these slips and i felt and still feel 14.2 was going to be the best it would ever do,i always wanted to be in the 13's but it never happend.i must admit though im happy with 14.3 looking at what other people are doing. im going to try and get it on a different dyno when ive finished putting it back together and ill update on here again

Hi guts right ive took a pic of my timing slip remember this is without noz and on avon zzt'S (see below,im in the left lane) it reads... reaction .6439 60 ft time 2.1603 1/8 mile 9.1751 1/8mile speed 75.24 quarter mile 14.3129 quarter speed 95.41mph I have done better very slightly but i cant find that timing slip.....this one i had a bad start as you can see. As i quoted my car does 14.3's but and ive always said it with a better start i could drop in to 14.2's HOWEVER that would 100% be everything...thats with a good start and perfect changes. hope i get more positive feedback this time as after the abuse i got last night i cried myself to sleep:d Homer can you add this to the quarter mile list please if its ok?

ive got an na too and seriously looked into noz a few years ago......my decision? i didnt bother.i have friends with it fitted and honestly they never have there bottles with anything in them!!!!! its far to expensive on top of a car that already is expensive to run.more downs that ups i felt and not to mention what jamie p just said.

ha ha ha the upset! na guys ill upload my timing slips as soon as i can do it at work.ive got 2 different sets 1 at santa pod im sure my best there was 14.391 ish and the other was from york raceway which im sure was around 14.319.granted the dyno could of been a mile out but as ive said im not a horse power junkey,thinking about it ill try and take a pic of the slip and see if it will come out....not shying away from this one lads and im expecting apologies! lol

thanks for telling me! 0.2 secs hum? thats good to know. anyway its got high lift cams,a piggy back ecu,racing manifold straight through with no cats and an uprated fuel pump.my friend from toyota found most of this out when hes done bits and bobs on it.plus when he drove it he said ids defo been played with.ill get my slip on asap where do i put it??

been at it again and managed to get the the dash ready for flocking tomorow. As you will see ive decided to remove the top tweeters that sit in the top of the dash as my sound system didnt use them anyway so im sure you can see from the pics what i did. also ive attached a pic of the parts that are going for flocking minus the rear rindow surrounds as they need a little fettle in the morning. Next job? finishing the carpet (2nd coat of dye) and then its clock surround time! decided im 100% going for high shine black.

ha possibly bud,i aint no horse power junkey or anything throwing stupid numbers around like people do i got the car for the reliability if anything.....when i got it my mate had a scooby 320bhp and mine sat nex to it on a roll on from 60mph.my other friend also fetched home an audi a5 from audi where he workes and that had 300bhp as standard and again mine was well up with it.i always get people on trackdays saying these turbos are quick,ive lost count how many times ive had to tel them its na plus mines smashed 3 diffs so far and ive had 2 uprate.........this is the reason i asked if anyone else with an na has run 14.3 on the quarter

Quick question aimed at none turbo owners........................... Whats the best quarter mile time youve done?? interested to know as the best ive ever done is 14.3 and thats after about 30 runs to get my changes right!!!!! cheers

ha i got asked that the other day! its not so much the power its just the drifting that kills em i think plus as ive said im just flat to the nuts 24 7 lol.at first my thoughts were "if thats all that breakes im well happy" but after the 3rd it got annoying so im now runing a turbo one as there a bit stronger but only time will tell.as for jamie p ive spoke to him on here once or twice and im not supprised his car eats em!!!!!
