Being as the na is the slowest and less tunable i thought the insurance would be more.

Was bored today so i thoguth id have a laugh with some quotes, so i did a quote on a na turbo and tt and what i found was slightly wierd. For an n/a it came out at 1287 a year for the turbo it was 1689 and for the tt it was less then the turbo at 1472. So i just thought shall i get rid of my n/a and get a tt as the insurence isnt that much more. by the way im 21 with 1 years no claim and put it as fully comp with 500 excess. Matt

Just checked and the car has abs as the light comes on when ignition is on.

Got the car back and bad new it failed. The failure was the offside rear brake pipe was corroded and the brake strip light doesnt work, so to say its been sat in a garage for 3 years and under a cover for 1 year it didnt do that bad All i need to do is get the parts and replace them.

yeah theres no rust, what i can see anyway and the exhaust is in good nick. I thught they checked for other stuff like if the brakes worked properly.

Really nervous today as my supra has gone for its MOT. I'm not expecting it to pass but it might do there is nothing that me or my dad can find that will fail it on an MOT, so with any luck i might just be lucky. Will keep you all updated.

mines com pletely stock even got the jap radio and cd changer, havent done anything to it yet as it needs moting and only just got it.

Hey all theres a whining niose coming from the engine it gets loader the higher the revs my dad thinks its the thrust bearing in the clutch as when the cluth is disengadged it doesnt make the niose can anyone help with this thanks

Well has been sat on the drive since sept last year and in the garage since before then as my dad didn't drive it anymore, just going to get it motd and service it and have a good drive with a full tank of petrol and then put some new oil in it and that should help.

dont worry only just taken out of the heated garage a couple of mounths ago been in there all that time plus every couple of mounths i would start it and clean it so it should be ok

Hey all got a battery for my supra that had been sitting on the drive for 4 years and never moved (i know its a sin) hooked it all up i wasnt expecting it to start first time but wow it started first without any problems what so ever im so happy with the result, all i need to do now is get it mot'd and on the road hopefully in the next mounth or so once a sell my vectra. just rang my local toyota dealer and they say as its an import they dont have the correct battery and i said why wouldnt a uk spec battery work and they went good point so im going to have a ring around some local motorfactors. they also said it would be 60 inc vat
